The river that gathers the essence of the good path, easy to enter, a part of the commentary ocean of the Root Tantra of the Guhyasamaja, which dispels the suffering of the wise. The river that gathers the essence of the good path, easy to enter, a part of the commentary ocean of the Root Tantra of the Guhyasamaja, which dispels the suffering of the wise. The river that gathers the essence of the good path, easy to enter, a part of the commentary ocean of the Root Tantra of the Guhyasamaja, called "Dispelling the Suffering of the Wise," is present. Homage to Manjushri Ghosha. The ultimate truth, free from obscurations, the spontaneously born great bliss, and the conventional rainbow body, the two forms of the Vajra body, the great lord of the hundred families of indivisible union, I prostrate to the lotus feet of the Vajra Holder Lama. The secret lord, Vajra Holder, who gathers the kings of tantras, Nagarjuna and Chandrakirti, who clarified this path, and the second Buddha, Tsongkhapa and his sons, I respectfully bow down and write a brief commentary on the tantra. Furthermore, following the meaning of the Guhyasamaja Root Tantra along with its commentary, which was clearly explained by the Lord himself, and according to my own capacity as a commentator, I have already separately composed a summary of the tantra's meaning along with the method of explanation, so I will not write it here. In order to make the text concise and easy to understand, I will condense the essence of the meaning of the commentary along with the annotations, and then begin to explain the Root Tantra. This has four parts: the meaning of the title, the homage of the author, the meaning of the text, and the meaning of the conclusion. The first part has two: the translation of the title and the meaning of the title. The first is: In the language of India, it is called Śrī Guhyasamāja Mahātantrarāja nāma. When translated into Tibetan, it becomes: The Great King of Tantras called "Glorious Guhyasamaja." Śrī is glorious, Guhya is secret, Samāja is assembly, Mahā is great, Tantra is tantra, Rāja is king. Nāma means called. In the second part, glorious means the meaning of the tantra is complete. Secret and assembly will be explained in four ways below, and according to the ultimate view, the Secret Assembly is the collection of the three secrets of body, speech, and mind of all Buddhas, which is the literal meaning. From the three letters comes the vajra, and then that vajra becomes Vajradhara, and together with the consort, the vajra and lotus unite, which is the general meaning. The appearance of mind isolation

The arising of the illusory body from the three combined with wind is the hidden meaning. The union of clear light and the illusory body is the ultimate secret gathering. The meaning of Tantra is continuous. If it is divided, there are two types: the Tantra of expression (words) and the Tantra of meaning (content). The latter is divided into three: the Tantra of cause, the Tantra of means, and the Tantra of result. The first is like a precious person and their Dharma nature. The second is like the four limbs of approach and accomplishment of the two stages. The third is like the non-learning union. Here, 'Tantra' refers to the text that expresses these three as the object of expression. The second is: Homage to glorious Vajrasattva. Possessing the splendor of the wisdom of union as its own nature, Vajra is the emptiness of the object, and Sattva is the co-emergent wisdom possessing the object. The two natures merge into one, and paying homage to it is reverence. The third is: The first chapter briefly explains the meaning of the Tantra, and the remaining sixteen chapters explain it in detail. If arranged in order, the first of the seventeen chapters has two parts: explaining the text of the chapter and the meaning of the chapter title. The first has two parts: the actual text and a summary of the meaning. The first has five parts: explaining the meaning of the introduction, the mantra mandala, the condensed mandala, the purpose of these, and explaining the mandala of extracted empowerment. The first is: Thus I have heard, at one time, until all the expanse of space appeared to be completely filled. Here there are two: explaining the teacher, time, and place in four perfect ways, and explaining the retinue's perfection in a direct and indirect way. The first is: Thus it is said, until residing in bhaga. Here there are four: literal meaning, general meaning, specific meaning, and ultimate meaning. The first is: The meaning of the Tantra's words, thus I have heard, by Vajrapani, when I heard from the teacher, the teacher, the Bhagavan, the essence of all the Tathagatas, the essence of the body, speech, and mind of those Tathagatas, the great Vajradhara himself, Vajra Dakini, which is the emptiness of the object, that itself is also bhaga, and focusing on the emptiness of the object.
