Above, it is not one with self-nature. It is also not different from self-nature. In the support of the aggregates, self-nature does not exist. Relying on the aggregates, self-nature also does not exist. The collection of aggregates is not you. The shape of the aggregates is also not you. The establishment of the first five reasons should be established as it is said about the chariot. Moreover, the two aspects of one and different should be applied analogously as explained in the separation of one or different before. For the latter reason: The collection of aggregates is the subject. It is not self, because it is the basis of designation for a person. Pervasion: Because the basis of designation should not be the designated dharma of it. The shape of the aggregates is the subject. It should not be self, because it is form. Pervasion: Because a person is not form, because that is a compositional factor with or without possession. Therefore, the example of the chariot can ascertain that a person is without self-nature. As it is said in the Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path: "Such an analysis of the chariot can quickly measure the depth of the meaning of that selflessness." Therefore, this seems very important. Je Norzang Gyatso also said: "If the chariot exists by its own nature, then when searching for the seven modes of analysis, it must be found. After determining this pervasion, when searching for the seven modes and not finding them, it is certain that the chariot does not exist by its own nature." Similarly, it applies to a person as well. Therefore, when searching for the meaning of designation with the sevenfold reasoning of a person, because it is not found, although a person is without self-nature, it exists nominally. And relying on it, all phenomena should also be understood in the same way. If one understands well, then it belongs to the category of understanding the Buddha's intention as it is. As it is said in Je Tsongkhapa's commentary on the "Entering the Middle Way": "You should strive to understand well these uncommon views of the master of scholars, Manjushri, which clearly reveal the extremely subtle points of the Blessed One's intention." Second, the way to establish the selflessness of phenomena through reasoning. There are five: the reasoning of separation of one, the Vajra Splinter, the refutation of production of existence and non-existence, the refutation of production of the four extremes, and the reasoning of dependent origination. The first one has been explained before. However, to explain a little here, for example:

Just like the image of a face appearing in a mirror, although it is empty of the face itself, when it appears, it appears as a face in every aspect. Similarly, although forms and so on are empty of inherent existence, when forms and so on appear to the five sense consciousnesses of ordinary beings, which are obscured by ignorance, they appear as being established by their own characteristics. No other way of appearing occurs. Therefore, in the context of the Consequentialists, although forms, sounds, and so on appear to the minds of ordinary beings, they consider that this very appearance of being established as it appears is the object to be refuted by our own sign. When refuting this, take a pot as an example: That, the subject, is not established as it appears to the minds of ordinary beings, because it is not established as either one or many as it appears. The pervasion is established as before. That, the subject, is not established as one as it appears, because it is merely a designation imputed on its basis of imputation. The pervasion is that in the minds of ordinary beings, pots and so on do not appear merely as designations imputed on their basis of imputation, but appear as being established from their own side in a way that the basis of imputation and the designation are indistinguishable. Furthermore, it also follows that all actions and agents become one. It follows from the previous reason that all the qualities of pots and so on are merely designated by names on their respective bases of imputation. It follows from that that all qualities must be established from something other than the basis of imputation itself. It follows from that that all qualities are dependently arisen, established in dependence on other parts of the basis of imputation. That, the subject, is not established as different as it appears to the minds of ordinary beings, because it is established in dependence on its basis of imputation. The pervasion is that if it were established as different as it appears, it would have to be established independently of its basis of imputation. Furthermore, forms, sounds, and so on are not established as they appear to the sense consciousnesses of ordinary beings. Because, in their minds, conventional truths are not established as they appear. It follows from that that in the system of the Autonomists, there are conventional truths that are established as they appear, so they assert that there are valid conventional truths. However, in the context of the Consequentialists, there are no conventional truths that are established as they appear, so they do not accept valid conventional truths. It follows from the latter that if it is conventional, then the way it appears and the way it is are necessarily different. It follows from that that if that is the case, then the way it appears appears as true
