The reason is: A sprout, it should be not self-existent, because it is dependent origination. For example, like an image. Dependent origination has two types: common and uncommon. The first is: All phenomena, their own parts, and the parts themselves are all their own parts. To understand this principle, one must rely on the above reasoning that refutes partlessness. The uncommon one is: One needs to understand that in the Prasangika school, it is only established by conceptual imputation. Because all those previous reasonings ultimately lead to the reasoning of dependent origination. Furthermore, all phenomena are not established by their own nature, because they are knowable, permanent, entities, and generalities such as vases. Generalities are not self-existent, because particulars that are not generalities are also not self-existent. The first one, the thesis, is because knowable is established merely by name on top of all phenomena. Permanent, is established merely by name on top of the particulars of the category of permanent. Entity and vase are also established by name and symbol on top of the particulars of the category of entity and the category of vase, because there is no other generality apart from the particulars. Similarly, all other generalities should be applied in the same way. If one is good at observing, then it is easier to ascertain that all generalities are not self-existent. Particulars that are not generalities are also not self-existent, because they do not exist in conditioned phenomena, nor do they exist in unconditioned phenomena. They do not exist in conditioned phenomena, because they do not exist in any of the three: form, consciousness, or non-associated compositional factors. Form that is not a generality is not self-existent, for example, a vase that is manifestly present in front of us is established on its own neck, base, etc. Like one's own body, it is established on the limbs. Like a mountain, it is established on the collection of earth, stones, etc. Consciousness that is not a generality is not self-existent, for example, one's own wisdom that has just arisen is coarser than other consciousnesses. Because it is a part of other consciousnesses. Non-associated compositional factors that are not generalities are all not self-existent, for example, a person himself is established relying on his own aggregates. Impermanence on top of that is established in relation to that person. It is the same for unconditioned phenomena as before.

Apply reasoning. In short, because there is no phenomenon that exists independently without relying on its own parts and verbal concepts, there is no phenomenon that exists by its own nature. As it is said in the "Four Hundred Verses": "All these are without autonomy, therefore, there is no self." For this reason. So, what is the method of meditation at the end of such analysis by reasoning? Although there are different views on this, if we explain according to the view of the scholar-accomplished Norzang Gyatso, in his scattered writings, for beginners who have not yet attained tranquility, the method of cultivating the view is briefly stated. First, as mentioned above, analyze the ultimate truth of one or many, etc., with the reasoning that analyzes it, and make it pure. When cultivating the actual view, if there is an object to be refuted, such as existence by its own nature, then there will definitely arise a certainty that existence by its own nature is either one or different. Then, like me, analyze whether or not one or many exist by their own nature, and when you realize that none of them exist, for the same reason, put the object to be refuted, such as my own existence by its own nature, deep in your heart, and cultivate the apprehension of non-affirmation, thinking "no, no." Do it as it is said. If the apprehension becomes an obsession, just remember the reasoning, think that the phenomenon is not established in that way, and meditate repeatedly. In the subsequent attainment, when forms and so on appear to be truly established, think that these are not established in that way, but are like an illusion of the aggregation of appearance and emptiness, alas, how wonderful! Look at it like that. Even if you know a lot of debate, if you don't even have familiarity with this kind of meaning, you will lose the essence of the necessary meaning, so you should strive. So, which sutra is the meaning of the view of selflessness realized by both the Prasangika and Svatantrika schools? That is the meaning of other sutras such as the Samadhiraja Sutra, but mainly the meaning of the intermediate turning of the wheel of Dharma, such as the Prajnaparamita Sutra, which is recognized by both. Second, the method of cutting off wrong paths. Some ancient people say: Just as the sky cannot grasp the edge and center, so too, not grasping anything in the mind and not paying attention to anything is the method of meditating on reality. This statement is also unreasonable.
