This is abandoning the aspiration to attain Buddhahood. The second part consists of forty-six transgressions, of which the first ten are: First, praising the qualities of any of the Three Jewels, and then, without prostrating with the body or reciting even a verse with the mouth, a day passes by in laziness, which is a fault of affliction; if it passes by due to forgetfulness, it is a non-afflictive fault; being insatiable; not respecting Bodhisattvas with higher precepts due to arrogance; when others ask questions about Dharma and matters with sincere intention, knowingly not answering; when invited as a guest by others, not going due to bad motivation; when others give gold and other wealth to oneself with sincere intention, not accepting it; even without being stingy, not giving to those who strive for the sake of Dharma; for those who break vows and commit the five heinous crimes, not subduing them despite being able to do so; not studying the precepts of individual liberation for the sake of others, these are ten. The second ten are: Not mainly studying the Bodhisattva's training, but for one's own benefit, only focusing on the individual liberation precepts that have little meaning and few activities; striving for wrong livelihood; indulging in excitement and carelessness; saying that there is no need to fear afflictions while dwelling in samsara; not eliminating the source of bad reputation for oneself; knowing that subduing with harsh actions would have great benefit, but not doing it despite being able to; slandering others in the same way when they scold oneself or reveal one's shortcomings; not making amends out of arrogance when one has harmed others out of anger or suspects that harm has been done; not accepting others' proper amends; not preventing the continuation of thoughts arising from anger towards others, these are ten. The third ten are: Gathering a retinue only to gain fame and wealth; lazily oversleeping; speaking many idle words attached to worldly affairs; not divulging the instructions of meditation; not abandoning the obstacles that hinder meditation; being attached to the bliss of meditation when it arises in the mind; saying that Bodhisattvas should not study the Dharma of Hearers; disparaging the Great Vehicle's
