With the tips joined and facing downwards, hold it on the crown of the head and raise the mandala to the sky. Visualize oneself as the wrathful deity separated from the main deity, the conqueror of the three worlds, with a blue body, one face, and two arms, holding a vajra and a pill with the hum-gesture mudra, and each of the soles of the feet marked with a blazing vajra arising from the syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ྄, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ). Meditate in between. Saying "Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ྄, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ)", perform the lotus rotation, shake the vajra bell, and circumambulate the mandala. Upon reaching the powerful one, and until touching the wind mandala, contemplate that all the various foundations below have transformed into the nature of vajra. If you wish to elaborate, starting from "situated on the ground of the great mandala," recite three times "The obstacles will be destroyed, without doubt! (བགེགས་རྣམས་བརླག་པར་འགྱུར་བ་གདོན་མི་ཟ)" to issue the command. Recite the Amrita and wrathful mantras. Then, purify the phurbas. From emptiness, from four Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ྄, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllables arise four various vajras. From the complete transformation of these, arises the wrathful vajra phurba, the upper part swirling with nectar, blue-green in color. The right hand holds various vajras at the heart, and the left hand supports a bell with a handle at the waist. From below the navel, the phurba is in the shape of a single-pointed vajra, blazing with fire. Purify the mallet. From emptiness, the vajra completely transforms, becoming a vajra mallet blazing with fire. Meditate in between. With the rays of light from the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ྄, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable at one's heart, summon all the hosts of obstacles. Visualize them being placed in pits made of long Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ྄, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllables inside the mountain of fire outside the vajra fence. Saying "Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ྄, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ)", insert the phurba from the crown of the head and recite: Oṃ ghagha ghataya ghataya sarva duṣṭaṃ phaṭ! Kīlaya kīlaya sarva pāpaṃ phaṭ! Vajra kīlaya vajra dharo ajñā payati svāhā! Then drive the phurba into the four corners. Starting from the powerful one, strike the obstacles with the phurba from the crown of their heads to the soles of their feet. Cause their body, speech, and mind to become motionless. Then, perform the recitation and circumambulate the protective circle. Second, the preliminary preparation has four parts. First, the preliminary preparation for the earth goddess: Then, in the center of the mandala, make a dot with the mudra of the central channel. Arrange bouquets of flowers. Arrange the four waters and offerings, and there, from the syllable Paṃ arises the yellow earth goddess, joyful and peaceful in mind, wearing white clothes.
