The training in ethics, The training in gathering virtuous dharmas, The three trainings of benefiting sentient beings, I shall individually and firmly uphold. The Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, The unsurpassed Three Jewels, The vows born from the Buddha's yoga, I shall uphold from today onwards. The great and supreme Vajra family, The vajra, bell, and mudra also, I shall truly uphold. The teachers also, I shall uphold. The great and supreme Ratna family, In the pleasing vows, Four times each day, six times, I shall always give the four kinds of generosity. Born from the great enlightenment, The pure and supreme Padma family, The outer, inner, and secret three vehicles, I shall individually uphold the sacred Dharma. In the great and supreme Karma family, Possessing all the vows, I shall truly and individually uphold, And do the work of offering as much as I can. The unsurpassed Bodhicitta, I shall generate. For the sake of all sentient beings, I shall uphold all the vows without exception. Those who are not liberated, I shall liberate, Those who are not freed, I shall free, Those who have not found rest, I shall give rest, And lead sentient beings to Nirvana.
