acting, in order to defeat the armies of demons. There are two types of demons, outer and inner. The outer ones are afflictions, etc. These are not only applied to Manjushri himself, but also to other emanations of the Buddha. Here, it is also explained that the hidden meaning is to show the way to meditate on the body of Manjushri. Ultimately, the Lord is the perfect Buddha, the support of the world. Therefore, he is worthy of offering, worthy of praise, a place of worship, should be relied upon constantly, and commemorated with images, worthy of being respected like a king, because he is a place of admiration, the supreme one not to be forgotten, worthy of being worshiped like a guru, because he is the supreme among gurus, therefore he is called the chief of gurus. He traverses the three worlds in one step with miraculous powers, pervading everything like the realm of space, and his emanations pervade the endless realms of the world. The three worlds refer to the three worlds of underground, above ground, and above ground, and the three explanations of the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. Taking one step refers to relying on the mantra vehicle, being able to explain everything in one lifetime and one life. Like the sky, boundless, etc., the Dharmakaya abides in a state like the sky, which can eliminate all unfavorable conditions and benefit countless sentient beings. The three kinds of knowledge refer to some who explain them as the clairvoyance of the divine eye, the recollection of previous lives, and the three kinds of non-leaking supernatural powers. Some explain it as understanding the three times, understanding the three baskets, and inwardly understanding body, speech, and mind. Thus, wisdom is free from all faults, so it is pure. From the clairvoyance of the divine eye to the exhaustion of leaks, one possesses six supernatural powers, the six recollections of remembering the Three Jewels, keeping precepts, giving, and gods, some explain the latter three as remembering vows, intention, and actions. Some think of remembering the six realms. One who possesses such qualities is a Bodhisattva, focusing on the body for one's own benefit; is a great Bodhisattva, focusing on the ground for the benefit of others.
