And, with the uncommon methods of various vehicles, with the wisdom of skillful means, for the benefit of beings, the one who realizes in accordance with their respective faculties, that is, the one who knows. Furthermore, although leading sentient beings to the definite arising of the three vehicles of Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Buddhas, all of them ultimately abide in the state of Buddhahood, the fruit of the one Great Vehicle. Although the One Vehicle is said to be the Unsurpassed Vehicle, this does not contradict its convergence into the Great Vehicle. The realms of afflictions such as desire are entirely of a pure nature, and they exhaust all the realms of actions instigated by afflictions, transcending the ocean of samsara where the river of suffering flows, and the solitary place of union arises from the place without afflictions. The solitary place of union, if explained from the perspective of what is to be abandoned, refers to the bonds that bind one to the place of samsara. In some Indian commentaries, "the solitary place of samsara" appears, and if it appears like "action," it is acceptable from the perspective of what is to be abandoned, but mostly it is explained as the previous action. Furthermore, fundamental afflictions such as desire, and secondary afflictions such as jealousy, along with their imprints, are completely abandoned. These are the distinctions of abandonment. Through such means as the great compassion without object and the wisdom that realizes emptiness, the meaningful action becomes the activity of benefiting beings. Abandoning the meaning of all concepts that grasp at a self, and obstructing the meaning of the delusion of the six aggregates of consciousness along with the appearance of truth, is to hold abandonment. In some places, it is said to obstruct. The object of the minds of all sentient beings, the mind without inherent existence, abides in the minds of all sentient beings. Therefore, it abides within the minds of seven sentient beings, which is the naturally pure nature of all sentient beings, and this shows that it will transform into the Dharmakaya. However, since the translation of the three lines is different, the meaning is also different. Furthermore, it also seems that the one who abides in the mind is referring to the venerable one himself. Because of the naturally pure nature of the minds of sentient beings, the venerable one acts in accordance with the minds, that is, the thoughts, of those sentient beings.
