Upon a perfect throne, above a lotus, and upon that, the sun and moon, fully developed, one meditates upon the seat of the full moon. Some say that if the meaning of the five faces is done as previously explained, it will become five faces. Since it will not become five faces, one should examine the lion's nose, two cheeks, forehead, and chin, which are five. Second, the actual explanation of the method of meditation is divided into two parts: generating the Samaya-being, and inviting and absorbing the Wisdom-being. The first part is further divided into two: generating the main deity, and the method of generating the retinue. The first part is further divided into two: identifying the main deity to be meditated upon, and the method of how to meditate upon it. First is: "Endowed with three kindnesses," etc., one verse is spoken, which means the root guru who possesses the three kindnesses of empowering oneself, explaining the tantras, and bestowing instructions, is the root source of the arising of goodness. Or, it is the root source of the arising of instructions, etc., there are many ways of explaining it. Among these, possessing three kindnesses is the most important, but one can also combine it with a guru possessing two kindnesses or one kindness, depending on the situation. What is the nature of such a guru? In general, no matter how good or bad the guru is, here, considering faith, the guru is the very nature of all Buddhas, possessing that nature. Second, how to meditate is divided into three ways: meditating as the Nirmanakaya, meditating as the Sambhogakaya, and meditating on the aggregates, etc., as deities. The first is: "The form is reddish-yellow," etc., up to "adorned on the head," which means, in what form should one meditate? Among the two Kayas, Nirmanakaya and Sambhogakaya, taking the Nirmanakaya as the basis, the form is a monk holding reddish-yellow monastic robes, with one face and two hands, radiating a white smile of joy from the face, that is, with a smiling face. The right hand teaches the Dharma at the heart, and the left hand holds a begging bowl filled with nectar in the Samadhi mudra. The color is reddish-yellow like the color of saffron, wearing reddish-yellow silk upper and lower garments, that is, the three monastic robes are beautifully worn on the body. A golden Pandita hat adorns the head. The begging bowl is a vessel for receiving fallen food, hence the name. The Pandita hat is the hat of a wise person, hence it is called that. Second, meditating as the Sambhogakaya: "The form is all-pervading," etc., up to "covered with garments."

It is said in between... Here, different examples appear, but it should be explained according to the meaning of the intermediate words. Furthermore, according to the method of the triple bodhisattva, it is necessary to visualize the Sambhogakaya Vajradhara in the heart of the Nirmanakaya. When doing so, from the point of "beautiful," one should recite "Vajradhara, the Lord of all realms, in the heart," and so on. Alternatively, if one does not visualize the form of the Nirmanakaya as in the version, if one wishes to visualize the Sambhogakaya, from the point of "the essence of all Buddhas," the Lama himself is the Lord of all families, Vajradhara, with one face and two arms, his body blue like indigo. Holding the symbolic vajra and bell, he embraces the consort Vajradhatvishvari, the father and mother are in equal union, the innate bliss, and the inseparable bliss and emptiness of self-nature, dwelling joyfully in the manner of enjoyment. Such a body also possesses many ornaments and perfect garments, because he is adorned with various precious ornaments made of priceless gold and other jewels, and is clothed in divine, perfect silk garments, that is, the form of adornment. Therefore, it is said. The above is to combine the visualization of either the Nirmanakaya alone or the Sambhogakaya according to one's own mind. Whichever of the two, Nirmanakaya and Sambhogakaya, is visualized, it should be explained according to the following words. Some say to visualize the Nirmanakaya as the samaya Lama, in his heart the wisdom being Shakyamuni, and in his heart the samadhi hero Vajradhara in union. Some think that Shakyamuni is not visualized, but the syllable HUM in the heart is considered the samadhi mind, the latter being slightly better. According to either of these two methods, it is necessary to visualize both the Sambhogakaya and the Nirmanakaya, which is slightly different from the choice given in this text, "whichever of the two is done," but the latter is in accordance with practice. To show the common characteristics of these two ornaments, from "ornaments of marks and signs" to "seated in the vajra posture," two and a half verses are spoken. For example, the thirty-two marks such as the palms and soles adorned with wheels, and the eighty minor marks such as copper-colored nails.
