If done in this way, one will be able to practice the essence of all Sutras and Tantras, and the root of all goodness in this life and the next will be strengthened. Now, although there is no conflict in reciting "Political and religious prosperity," etc., adding something from other texts is not necessarily required. Third, explaining the accomplishment of the explanation, two verses such as "Holy Sutras and Tantras" were spoken. If the literal embellishments are retained, it will be a little difficult to understand. If explained with metaphors, then the Sutras and Tantras spoken by the Buddha, and the oral instructions of the holy Guru, are like an ocean of milk. My, Lobsang Chökyi Gyaltsen's, wisdom is like the king of the earth, Mount Meru Mandara. From churning it, the unprecedented well-spoken nectar vase is like sentient beings transformed by good fortune, beautifully written, and united with the gods. Such a gathering, the benefit and happiness of this life and the next, like life, has obtained a method of near survival. Such a ritual, for all disciples who respect the Guru and the Three Jewels, is like a lamp that dispels the darkness of the heart, dispels ignorance and disbelief, and is also like an iron hook that quickly summons all the goodness of the world and beyond. Thus it is said. The third part of the root outline, the dedication of merit at the end, is indicated by four lines such as "Diligent in this." The meaning is that, for the creation of the above-mentioned ritual, the white merit like the moon that arises from it, what I, the author of the ritual, have obtained, I dedicate to the holy protectors who are the root of goodness, so that they may be able to take care of all sentient beings. Thus it is said. From "Thus this Guru offering ritual" to "Written on the top of the towering palace of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery," it was not quoted because of the large number of words. Said: The root of supreme and common accomplishments is the supreme Guru. The offering ritual that is extremely pleasing is the Vajra speech. Being able to clarify the meaning of the words slightly is the kindness of the holy ones, kindness.

I rely on it to meet until enlightenment. From the deep and vast garden of his mind, Gathered are all the thousand petals of well-arrived accomplishment rituals. Other than the sun of the wise's intention, how could I, a self-proclaimed wise one, discern? However, in order to plant good imprints of Dharma in the Buddha's teachings and human bodies, and to benefit other fortunate ones, I am delighted to strive in this way. This is the beautiful garment of the youthful wisdom of an unbiased person, the jewel that grants all desires of the meaning of the scriptures, and also the moon that dispels the heat of the mind. Since it arises from the power of examining in relation to the oral instructions of the learned in Sutra and Tantra, there is no fault of being adulterated by self-creation, and I wonder if there are any faults of contradiction, irrelevance, or repetition. The intention of the venerable Lama is subtle and profound, while my learning is inferior and my diligence is weak. I beseech forgiveness before the wise for any faults of non-understanding or misunderstanding. Whatever merit is accumulated from this, may those who practice this supreme yoga always be cared for by Jamyang Lama, and may it be dedicated to attaining ultimate and complete enlightenment. This was written at the urging of Mogotsang Kachuwa Jamyang Lodro and Gelong Ngawang Gyaltsen, born in the region of Chone, by Shakya Gelong Drakpa Shedrup, who has slightly opened his mind's eye to many scriptures, with the intention of benefiting one or two. After the initial draft, the Kachuwa himself later provided the supporting conditions for printing. The scribes in between were the venerable Kunga Rinchen and Lobsang Gyaltsen. May this also benefit others! Auspicious! Shubham! A Brief Lamp Illuminating the Meaning of the Guru Puja Ritual.
