The yoga of transforming the mind is: In short, like children, there are two verses. As before, the faults of clinging to self and the benefits of cherishing others can be extensively discussed. In brief, children and ordinary beings abandon others and only do their own things, while Shakyamuni Buddha only takes benefiting others as the main thing. The difference between these two is that children obtain faults, and the latter obtains merits. Through the power of wisdom that understands these differences well, cherish others as you cherish yourself. Like this, equally regard self and others, abandon the mind that only cherishes oneself, and transform into a mind that cherishes others. Furthermore, venerable Lama, please bless me so that I take the yoga of exchanging self and others as the core and main content of practice, as mentioned before. Because I see that only cherishing oneself is the source of all temporary and ultimate downfalls, as well as the suffering of the three lower realms and samsara, while cherishing mother-like beings is the basis of all temporary and ultimate qualities. Therefore, the four lines of venerable Lama, etc., because of the reasons mentioned before, venerable Lama, compassionate one, please let all the sins and sufferings of mother-like beings, as vast as the sky, without exception, ripen upon me immediately, so that all beings are free from suffering, and through the power of giving my happiness and all merits to other beings, may all beings have happiness. Second, the method of transforming adverse conditions into the path is: the outer vessel and inner beings, etc., four lines, the outer vessel world and the inner sentient beings are filled with the results of sins and various sufferings. Even if one experiences many unpleasant sufferings like rain, one should see that these sufferings are the ripening of past sins, the cause of maturing bad results, so do not be displeased with adverse conditions, but take them as the path.

Become friends and transform. Third, how to transform all appearances into the cause of generating Bodhicitta through the five powers: In short, etc., four lines. Although there are many causes for increasing Bodhicitta, in short, no matter what good or bad appearances arise, all of that is: projection, habituation, white seed, and refutation, aspiration, the five powers. As it is said, before attaining Buddhahood, prevent the arising of afflictions such as attachment, and for the Bodhicitta that has not arisen, cause it to arise, and for the one that has arisen, cause it to abide, and for the one that abides, cause it to increase, and strive for these, thus initiating projection. This is the power of projection. To diligently accumulate merit and purify obscurations in order to increase Bodhicitta, this is the power of the seed. For any affliction that arises, meditate on its antidote and destroy it, this is the power of refutation. May all virtues become the cause of increasing the Bodhicitta of oneself and others, thus aspiring, this is the power of aspiration. Through these four powers and methods such as exchanging oneself with others, at all times, make Bodhicitta habitual in one's own mindstream, this is the power of habituation. Summarizing the essence of all Dharmas into one, through the practice of the five powers as previously explained, transform the two Bodhicittas, conventional and ultimate, into the path of increase, thereby cultivating only happiness without any displeasure. Fourth, how to transform all immediate circumstances into meditation through the four combinations: The four combinations, etc., one verse. Regarding this, there are also: explaining the four combinations and explaining the vows of mind training and the practice of what should be learned. First, the four combinations, etc., two lines. As it is said in the collected works of this venerable one: Accumulating, purifying, offering to gods and demons, the skillful means endowed with the four combinations. Thus, through the skillful means endowed with the four combinations of accumulating merit, purifying obscurations, and offering to gods and demons with tormas, etc., no matter what kind of favorable or unfavorable circumstances, great or small, are encountered, transform all of that into favorable conditions or companions for meditating on Bodhicitta, etc., that is, transformation. Second, the vows of mind training, etc., are the mind training, etc., two lines.
