And it is called the channel through which Bodhicitta descends. However, saying that it descends from the demon-severed channel refers to the time of death and the time of the path. Now, at the base, wind and Bodhicitta do not descend from it. Not only does it not descend from it, but it also obstructs the wind and Bodhicitta from descending from other channels, therefore it is called the demon-severed channel and the channel that obstructs Yoginis. Because the channels of the twenty-four places mainly descend semen, blood, and wind, these three are divided into groups of three, totaling seventy-two. Each of these is divided into a thousand, totaling seventy-two thousand. Each of these is divided into twenty-four thousand, divided into three groups, one group mainly descending semen, one group mainly descending blood, and one group mainly descending wind. These three are successively called the body channel, speech channel, mind channel, and the channels of the three wheels. As the Vajra Garland says: "The three become twenty-four, from this the three wheels are divided, the channels have eight divisions, with the mantras of body, speech, and mind, divided into seventy-two clearly visible, from this divided into a thousand, each possessing the nature of emanation, the seventy-two thousand channels, are called the number of channels." Therefore, among all the channels, the one hundred and twenty channels are the main ones. The thirty-two channel petals of the crown chakra, the sixteen channels of the throat chakra, the eight channels of the heart chakra, and the sixty-four channels of the navel chakra are the main ones. As the Two Examinations say: "The main channel letters are one hundred and twenty." Therefore, among the channels, the channels of the twenty-four places are the main ones. Because they are the source of hair, body hair, nails, etc. Among these, the red, white, and central channels are the main ones. Because these three channels are the support for wind and consciousness, and other channels also arise dependent on these three channels. The red, white, and central channels have different names. The central channel is called Avadhuti, Rahu, the channel that abandons duality, the dark channel, the mind channel, the mind channel. The red channel is called Rasana, the grasping channel, the sun channel, the dust channel, the speech channel, the wisdom channel, the right channel. The white channel is called Lalana, the grasped channel, the moon channel, the courage channel, the body channel, the skillful means channel.

is the right channel. Because it is called the left channel. However, it is also said that Roma is the channel of skillful means, and Kyangma is the channel of wisdom, which is not contradictory. Second, the way winds are formed is: when the intermediate state being enters the womb, the wind at that time is the subtle life-sustaining wind. From that arises the breaking of the life-sustaining wind. At that time, the body of that sentient being is like the shape of a fish. This is in terms of the first month. In the second month, from the coarse life-sustaining wind arises the downward-clearing wind. The body of that sentient being has five protrusions, like the shape of a turtle. In the third month, from the downward-clearing wind arises the level-dwelling wind. The body of that sentient being has its upper body slightly hunched, like a wild boar. In the fourth month, from the level-dwelling wind arises the upward-moving wind. The body of that sentient being has its upper body slightly expanded, like a lion. In the fifth month, from the upward-moving wind arises the pervasive wind. The body of that sentient being is like a dwarf. In the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth months, the winds that move through the doors of the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and body, such as the dragon, turtle, ant, generous giver, and victorious bow, and the elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and space, are formed in sequence. A slightly more detailed explanation of the classification of winds will be given below. Third, the way bindus are formed is: the death clear light wind of the intermediate state being, the similar subsequent consciousness, and the essence of the white and red bodhicitta of the two parents, mix together into a single mass of bindu, which is located in the central channel of the heart chakra, because it exists in the slightly empty tube within it. Its names include: indestructible bindu, innate bindu, wisdom bindu, and so on. The white and red bindus are the main components of the entire body, with white producing semen, bones, or marrow, and red producing flesh, blood, and skin. The indestructible bindu has two types: indestructible for as long as life lasts, and never decaying. The first is the indestructible bindu, and the second is the indestructible wind-mind. If the latter is divided, it becomes two, namely the indestructible wind and the indestructible mind. Channel
