Therefore, it is necessary to generate certainty by establishing the meaning of the scriptures through reasoning. As it is established in the commentary of Vajra Dakini through the reasoning of being separate from one and many. It is established through the reasoning of being separate from one and many, or dependent origination, etc. The details have been explained elsewhere. Thus, in all the root and explanatory tantras of Chakrasamvara, it is said to meditate on emptiness, which is the absence of self, i.e., selflessness. Therefore, those who wish to meditate on the path of union of bliss and emptiness should seek a thorough understanding of the view of selflessness. The refutation of the misconception that it is not necessary to seek such an understanding of the view in this unsurpassable vehicle, based on the tantric texts, should be understood from what has already been explained elsewhere. Furthermore, since there is nothing higher than the Madhyamaka in the way of determining the understanding of emptiness, there is no superior or inferior in the view of emptiness between this vehicle and the Paramita vehicle. This is because of what has been said above. Moreover, it is necessary to ascertain the view of realizing selflessness, because here the left-hand conduct is said to be important. Its definitive meaning is that emptiness by nature and the wisdom that realizes it are made the "left." Firstly, because all that is stable and moving, vessel and essence, arise from emptiness by nature, and all actions are justified. Secondly, because the wisdom of indivisible bliss and emptiness itself is the basis for manifesting and withdrawing both pure vessel and essence, it is said that way. As the Vajra Dakini says: All beings, stable and moving, arise from the left. And also in the Abhidhanottara it is said: Left-hand conduct is wisdom. In general, there are four types of emptiness of objects: the emptiness of a person existing as an independent, substantially existent entity, as asserted by the Svatantrika and below; the emptiness of the grasper and the grasped as different substances, as asserted by the Cittamatrins; the emptiness of phenomena not being merely established by the power of appearing to an unharming mind, but being established from the perspective of the unique mode of existence of the object itself, as asserted by the Svatantrikas; and the emptiness of all phenomena being empty of being established by their own nature, but being merely imputed by conceptual thought, as asserted by the Prasangikas. Therefore, there are these four types of emptiness.

Furthermore, in this context, concerning the first emptiness, the union of bliss and emptiness does not even mention the body. Although the four inferior individuals unite bliss and emptiness in the manner of the two intermediate ones, if the emptiness and view that a jewel-like individual mainly unites with bliss and emptiness is the fourth, then it must be the fourth. If the emptiness that is the main object of meditation for sharp-witted trainees of the Perfection Vehicle is the fourth, then it must be the fourth. Because compared to the sharp-witted trainees, a jewel-like individual is one whose faculties are extremely sharp. Secondly, what is the nature of the bliss to be united with emptiness? That is, merely meditating on single-pointed concentration, when mental pliancy arises, through its power, the winds of the body become workable, and bodily pliancy arises in a way that benefits inwardly. Based on that, the bliss of the body arising with pleasure and great joy arising in the mind is not the bliss to be united with emptiness in this context. Because it is common to both inner and outer, both great and small vehicles, both sutra and tantra, all four classes of tantra, and both generation and completion stages. The bliss that arises from meditating on the actual and proximate concentration of the first dhyana is also not the bliss to be united with emptiness in this context. Because even outsiders and ordinary beings of the form realm have it. The bliss obtained from directly realizing emptiness is also not the bliss to be united with emptiness in this context. Because even the noble ones of the three vehicles have it. The bliss of meditating on the incoming and outgoing breath as taught in the Hearer's Ground and the Abhidharma-kosa, etc., and the bliss of practicing pranayama related to the yoga of the deity by blocking the outward-moving wind and holding it inward as taught in the Later Contemplation of the Action Tantra and the Manifest Enlightenment of the Performance Tantra, etc., is also not the bliss to be united with emptiness in this context. Because it is not separate from focusing on key points such as the wheels of karma. The bliss that arises from looking at, laughing at, and binding the hands of the meditated deity is also not the bliss to be united with emptiness in this context. Because it exists even in the lower Yoga Tantras.
