正如该续中所说:『ཨེ(E)表示秘密处、虚空,bhaga(藏文,梵文Devanagari:भग,梵文罗马转写:bhaga,汉语字面意思:吉祥)、法生处、莲花,瑜伽士坐在狮子座上,成为极其殊胜的导师。

Because it was said (in the scriptures). Secondly, in general, all the essential points of the meaning of all Anuttarayoga Tantras are contained in the discussion of the forty letters from E-vaṃ (藏文,梵文Devanagari:एवं,梵文罗马转写:evaṃ,汉语字面意思:Thus) to Bi-ja-ha-ra (藏文,梵文Devanagari:बीजहर,梵文罗马转写:bījahara,汉语字面意思:seed removal). The main meaning of which, the two, method and wisdom, are contained in the meaning of the initial two E-vaṃ (藏文,梵文Devanagari:एवं,梵文罗马转写:evaṃ,汉语字面意思:Thus). As it says in the Vajramala Tantra: 'How can these words, such as "Thus I have heard," which are initially spoken in the Tantra, expand their meaning?' The first two lines explain how the secret, and the topic of discussion that initially appears in the Tantra, are transformed into the meaning of the two E-vaṃ (藏文,梵文Devanagari:एवं,梵文罗马转写:evaṃ,汉语字面意思:Thus). The latter two lines ask, 'How would it be if the meaning of each E-vaṃ (藏文,梵文Devanagari:एवं,梵文罗马转写:evaṃ,汉语字面意思:Thus), etc., were explained in detail?' The answer to the latter question is that each letter is explained with a verse. And in response to the first question, it is said that there are three E-vaṃ (藏文,梵文Devanagari:एवं,梵文罗马转写:evaṃ,汉语字面意思:Thus): the E-vaṃ (藏文,梵文Devanagari:एवं,梵文罗马转写:evaṃ,汉语字面意思:Thus) of the fruit to be obtained, the E-vaṃ (藏文,梵文Devanagari:एवं,梵文罗马转写:evaṃ,汉语字面意思:Thus) of the path of attainment, and the E-vaṃ (藏文,梵文Devanagari:एवं,梵文罗马转写:evaṃ,汉语字面意思:Thus) of the guiding sign. Furthermore, the first is explained in two ways: with a meaning that needs interpretation and a definitive meaning. The first has a way of representing meaning with two letters: E represents the place where the teacher sits and speaks the Tantra, which is called "secret place" in some Tantras such as the Root Tantra of Chakrasamvara, and in others, it is called "space," as well as representing "Bhaga (藏文,梵文Devanagari:भग,梵文罗马转写:bhaga,汉语字面意思:Auspicious)," "Dharmodaya," "Lotus," and "Lion Throne." Va represents the teacher who sits on those seats and speaks the Tantra, representing Vajradhara, Vajrasattva, Vajrabhairava, Vajreshvara, Heruka, Kalachakra, and Primordial Buddha. The dot represents the teachers such as Vajradhara sitting on those seats such as the secret place and teaching the Dharma. As it says in the same Tantra: 'E represents the secret place, space, Bhaga (藏文,梵文Devanagari:भग,梵文罗马转写:bhaga,汉语字面意思:Auspicious), Dharmodaya, Lotus, the yogi sits on the lion throne, becoming an exceedingly wonderful teacher. Vaṃ represents Vajrasattva, Vajra, Vajrabhairava, Ishvara, Heruka, and Kalachakra, as well as the Primordial Buddha, etc.' Because it was said (in the scriptures). The second meaning is: E represents the wisdom of emptiness at the time of the result, and Va represents the great bliss of the method at the time of the result, and both represent the union of clear light and illusory body at the time of the result.

Because it is a symbol. As it is said in that itself: Evaṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: एवं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: evaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: thus) is the seal of the Tathāgata, symbolizing non-duality, and the inseparability of emptiness and compassion, in which it is manifested. In that, it is the seal of the Tathāgata, symbolizing non-dual wisdom, and is said to be the foundation of all tantras. Because it is said so. Secondly, from the perspective of the path, it is necessary to understand the symbolic meaning of the two evaṃs. If there is no thorough understanding of emptiness, which is what e (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ए, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: e, Chinese literal meaning: e) symbolizes as the selflessness of reality, then the meaning of the letter e is incomplete. Even if there is that, if there is no great bliss arising from striking the inner and outer body, then the meaning of the letter vaṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: vaṃ) is incomplete. Even if there are both of these, if one does not know how to combine bliss and emptiness by transforming the view of realizing emptiness into the nature of melting bliss, then the meaning of the bindu is incomplete. Therefore, one must practice the union of bliss and emptiness through understanding these, and this is said to be the essence of the meaning that pervades the eighty-four thousand collections of teachings, and in short, it is the seal of the great king of Dharma. As it is said in that itself: E (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ए, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: e, Chinese literal meaning: e) is said to be emptiness, similarly, vaṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: vaṃ) is compassion, and the bindu arises from the union of the two. That union is wonderfully supreme. It pervades the eighty-four thousand collections of teachings, and in short, it is the seal of the Dharma. The great king is that seal, and it is said to be the beginning of all tantras. Because it is said so. Such wisdom of bliss and emptiness, from whichever tantra it is taught, that tantra has the supreme accomplishment, and if it is not taught, then it does not exist. As it is said in that itself: The meaning of all tantras is gathered, emptiness and compassion are inseparable, in which it is manifested, that is the seal of the Tathāgata. The two letters evaṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: एवं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: evaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: thus), if there are not these two in which, then in that there is no reality. Because it is said so. Thirdly, regarding the meaning of evaṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: एवं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: evaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: thus) as a guiding symbol, among the outer and inner, there is a symbolic way of practicing externally. E (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ए, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: e, Chinese literal meaning: e) symbolizes the lotus of the supporting mudra, vaṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: vaṃ) symbolizes the vajra jewel of the supporting father, and the bindu symbolizes the mutual union of the two. The bindu residing in the vajra is the basis of all bliss, which causes the manifestation of various emanations, such as Vajrasattva. As it is said in that itself:
