Likewise, visualize the appearances of the eye, etc. Water has two aspects, inner and outer. The inner aspect consists of the five elements such as phlegm and tears, while the outer aspect consists of the five elements such as flowing water, which are the appearances of Mamaqi, etc. Fire has two aspects, the inner being the five elements such as the heat of the head, and the outer being the five elements such as fire arising from stone, which are the appearances of White-clad Mother, etc. Wind has two aspects, the inner being the five pervasive winds, and the outer being the five upper winds, which are the appearances of Tara, etc., which were previously meditated upon. Thirdly, as stated in the tantra: "The vajra-born essence itself is the supreme mandala of the Bodhisattva." As it is said, meditating on the six senses as six bodhisattvas is the isolation of the body of the senses. That is, the five aspects such as the eye perceiving three forms are the appearances of Earth Essence, etc. The five aspects such as the nature of the ear are the appearances of Vajrapani, etc. The five aspects such as the nature of the nose are the appearances of Space Essence, etc. The five aspects such as the nature of the tongue are the appearances of Lokeshvara, etc. The five aspects such as the sense of the body are meditated upon as the five appearances of Nivaranaviskambhin, etc. The five aspects such as mirror-like wisdom at the ground stage are meditated upon from the appearance of Manjushri to that of Akshobhya. Fourthly, as stated in the tantra: "The mantra practitioner should always meditate on forms, sounds, etc., as deities themselves." As it is said, meditating on the five skandhas such as form as the five Vajra Mothers is the isolation of the body of the objects. That is, the five aspects such as the general appearance of form are the appearances of the Form Vajra Mother, etc. The five aspects such as the sound within the ear are the appearances of the Sound Vajra Mother, etc. The five aspects such as the general appearance of smell are the appearances of the Smell Vajra Mother, etc. The five aspects such as the sweet taste are the five appearances of the Taste Vajra Mother, etc. The five aspects such as the touch accompanied by mudras are the five appearances of the Touch Vajra Mother, etc., which must be meditated upon. The appearances of the hundred families of deities are white, and their Ratnasambhava family is yellow, etc., and their body colors do not change. The hand symbols of all five families of appearances are a white wheel, vajra, lotus on the right, and a bell, jewel, and sword on the left. This can also be understood by others. The hundred families mentioned here are the actual meaning of the tantra.

This is said in terms of the power of... Generally speaking, even for all the wrathful deities and Samantabhadra parents, it is possible to divide them into five and five categories. For other deities, it is possible to divide them into five and five categories, but it is unreasonable to have a distinction that these twelve cannot be divided into five and five categories. Secondly, if the hundred families are summarized, they are included in the five families. From the twenty Vairochanas being summarized into one Vairochana, to the twenty Akshobhyas being summarized into one Akshobhya, this is how to practice. Thirdly, these five are also included in the three families, namely, Ratnasambhava's body vajra and Vairochana, Amoghasiddhi's speech vajra and Amitabha, Vajradhara's mind vajra and Akshobhya, and then practice after summarizing them. This is because they are secluded places, the three of body, speech, and mind are completely pure, and they are included in the nature of the three vajras. Fourthly, there is, these three families can also be summarized into one Vajradhara and then practiced. In short, as mentioned earlier, these are the body seclusions of the hundred families, five families, three families, and one family. As the Uttaratantra says: "That nature is divided into five, the manifestation is divided into three, the supreme deity is the great secret, the holy lineage is divided into a hundred." Fifthly, after rising from the samadhi of body seclusion, in the subsequent attainment stage, when the five senses such as the eyes come into contact with the five objects such as forms, viewing the objects as the manifestation of bliss and emptiness and repeatedly enjoying them is retraction. As the Uttaratantra says: "Of the ten senses, in all their respective places of activity, because of individually retracting desires, it is said to be individual retraction." The ten senses mentioned here refer to the five senses and their five objects, and are also referred to by the term sense. Desire refers to the five objects desired here, and individually means repeatedly, not the meaning of separate individuals. Relying on retraction, the yoga of contemplating the five objects as deities is dhyana. As the Uttaratantra says: "The five desires, briefly summarized, by training as the five Buddhas, observation is said to be dhyana." This dhyana has five branches, namely, at that time, contemplating the nature of the deity is the branch of contemplation, and detailed observation is the branch of observation.
