Although one is not attached to it now, nevertheless, because one practices well and conforms with body, speech, and mind that arise again, therefore, one should also understand that these are also included in the truth of the origin. Thus it is said. If it is said that the characteristic of the accumulation is without outflows and is the nature of the path truth, that is not reasonable because it is to be included. By the wisdom arising from hearing and thinking, one strives for those mindfulnesses that are closely established. That is also conventional knowledge, virtuous, and with outflows. Relying on that, one strives for those mindfulnesses that are closely established, arising from meditating on the practice that is in accordance with the aspect of definite discrimination. That is also conventional knowledge, virtuous, and with outflows. Relying on that, one strives for those mindfulnesses that are closely established, which are in accordance with and possess the aspect of definite discrimination of the practice of the path of seeing. That is also conventional knowledge, virtuous, and with outflows. Relying on that, one generates the supreme of worldly dharma, which is included in the uninterrupted path of the path of seeing. That is also conventional knowledge, virtuous, and with outflows. Thus, it is said that these are with outflows.

It is said that there are three, seven, ten, and thirty-three countless eons, and it is also said that there are thirteen. Among these, the three countless eons appear in most scriptures. Regarding the meaning of "countless," in the commentary on the Abhidharmakosha and the Thubpa Gong Gyen (Ornament of the Buddha's Intention), and many other treatises, it is considered not to be a countless number that is beyond counting, but rather a countless number that has reached the sixtieth place of numbers. These numerical places are: one, ten, hundred, thousand, ten thousand, hundred thousand, million, ten million, hundred million, trillion, great trillion, jing, great jing, gai, great gai, zi, great zi, rang, great rang, gou, great gou, jian, great jian, zheng, great zheng, zai, great zai, ji, great ji, Ganges sand, great Ganges sand, asankhya, great asankhya, immeasurable, great immeasurable, great number, great great number, countless. It is said that eight numerical places are omitted in between. In the Bodhisattvabhumi Sutra, there are two ways of counting countless great eons: one is that each great eon has countless years, months, moments, etc., therefore it is called countless great eons; the other is countless great eons that are beyond counting. According to the statement that many countless eons are needed to attain Buddhahood, the first type of countless is adopted; if it is considered that three countless eons are sufficient, then the latter method of counting countless is adopted. In this way, it seems to be in accordance with the statement in the sutras that "beyond the number of sands of the Ganges River." In the commentary on the Eight Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra, it is said that the three countless eons are intentional, but in the ultimate sense, thirty-three countless eons are considered. As it is said: "Thus, the first countless eon begins from the path of accumulation and is completed up to the first bhumi. The second begins from the stainless bhumi and goes up to the seventh bhumi.
