Having heard "Go," they set out. Having mounted the elephant, they fainted, remembering the qualities of the Teacher. Then, having sent a messenger, they asked, 'By my command, is the harm to the giants small? Is the fear small? Is the movement light? Are they alive? Are they endowed with strength? Do they dwell touching happiness?' Having asked, the giants said, 'The Teacher has been cherished by us for a long time and has become our lama. Since he passed away near your village, give us a share of the relics. We will build a stupa in Rajagriha and make offerings and festivals,' they said. Then the messenger did as he was told. The giants said, 'We will also do the same.' Then they said, 'Then let us seize it with an army.' They said, 'Let it be so.' The wives and youths of the giants also trained their hips to fight against the four-limbed army of others. The giants put on four-limbed armor and came out. At that time, the Brahmin caste, equal to Brevo, knowing that if they fought, one would die, said to the giants of the grassland, 'The Teacher has long been endowed with patience, praising patience. For the sake of the relics, it is not right to kill one another. I will divide the relics into eight parts and offer them in vases.' Having said this, the giants said, 'Let it be so.' Then from the sinful giant to the messenger, they said the same, and having said, 'Let it be so,' they divided the relics into eight parts and gave them from the grassland giant to the messenger. They built stupas in their respective lands and made offerings and great festivals. The share of the sound was stolen by the nagas, and the nagas made offerings. The vase containing the relics was given to Brevo, and a stupa was built in the city of Brevo. The ashes of the relics were given to Nyagrodha, and that Brahmin boy built a stupa in the land of Nyagrodha, made offerings and great festivals. At that time, the stupas became ten. There were four and fourteen teeth. Out of the eight parts of the relics of the one with eyes, seven were obtained for the offerings of the people of Jambudvipa. That one part of that supreme being, the dragon of the city of sound,

The king made offerings. Among the four teeth of that excellent being, one tooth is offered to the three realms of the world, the second is in the delightful city of Holding Sentences, the third is in the land of the Kalinga king, and the fourth tooth of that excellent being is offered by the dragon king in the city of Sound Proclamation. King Ashoka, residing in Kyanar, extensively built seven stupas, and through his power, this earth is also adorned with actual prayers. Thus, to the relics of the one with eyes, the king of gods, the king of nagas, and the king of men, along with humans, nagas, and lords of yakshas, offered great reverence and worship. The all-knowing, compassionate, and powerful one, Shakyamuni, was born in Magadha and attained enlightenment, turned the wheel of Dharma in Kashmir, and having relied on the Grass City, passed into nirvana. Thus it is said. The meaning of nirvana, according to the Shravakas, is like a fire that goes out when the wood is exhausted, with all material and consciousness completely ceasing, and they consider this to be nirvana. Some Mahayanists believe that although the Sambhogakaya passes into nirvana, none of the retinue knows it, just as when Indra dies and is reborn, the gods of the retinue do not know. They say, but this is not reasonable, because it is said that the Sambhogakaya is constant and does not cease. There are two causes for longevity: abandoning the taking of life and giving food to others. It is said that by perfecting these two, one accumulates the two accumulations, and by relying on the four legs of miraculous power and meditating extensively, one can remain for a kalpa or even longer if one wishes. Thus it is said. In the commentary on the Dharani for Accomplishing Infinite Doors, it is said that the Nirmanakaya is said to pass into nirvana, but not the other (Sambhogakaya). Possessing the cause of abiding forever, it is not appropriate to pass into nirvana. Thus, the Nirmanakaya shows the manner of passing into nirvana, but not the Sambhogakaya. The Nirmanakaya also shows the manner of passing into nirvana, but it is not a complete cessation. In the White Lotus Sutra of the Sacred Dharma, it is like the son of a skilled doctor who does not take medicine, but after preparing the medicine, persuades him to take it, feigning death, saying, "I will die." The son also says, "My father, the doctor, is dead, and there is no other who knows medicine."
