The body of the Essence. Similarly, the body of the Enjoyment Body is fourfold, such as the Emanation Body of the Enjoyment Body. Similarly, the body of the Dharma Body is fourfold, such as the Emanation Body of the Dharma Body. Similarly, the body of the Co-emergent Body is fourfold, such as the Emanation Body of the Essence Body. Thus, the distinctions of the body are established through the four vajras. Another way to classify the body is that the very basis of primordial wisdom, from the aspect of being the infinite form of suchness, is the Emanation Body; from the aspect of being the infinite sound of suchness, it is the Enjoyment Body; from the aspect of being the infinite qualities of suchness, it is the Dharma Body; from the aspect of being the infinite wisdom of suchness, it is the Wisdom Body; and from the aspect of being infinite bliss, it is the Bliss Body. The noble Manjushri briefly stated his own view, saying: The aggregate of form is infinite, it is my supreme Emanation Body. The aggregate of sound is infinite, it is my supreme Enjoyment Body. The aggregate of dharma is infinite, I proclaim the Dharma Body as supreme. The aggregate of wisdom is infinite, I proclaim the Wisdom Body as supreme. The aggregate of bliss is infinite, my bliss is unchanging and supreme. In summary, the aggregates are the body, which is completely proclaimed as truly accumulated. Here, "summary," "aggregates," "body," and "accumulation" have the same meaning. Another way to classify the body is that the very basis of primordial wisdom, from the aspect of being unconditioned, is the Essence Body; from the aspect of being the collection of qualities such as mindfulness, it is the Dharma Body; from the aspect of being the nature of signs and examples, it is the Enjoyment Body; and from the aspect of abiding as long as samsara exists and benefiting beings, it is the Emanation Body. The Ornament of Clear Realization states: The Essence Body of the Buddha is the uncontaminated dharmas, the nature of the ten exhaustions, and the birthplace that overcomes all, which, when distinguished, are eightfold, without afflictions and with direct knowledge, and individual self-awareness, the basis of all purity, the ten powers and the ten strengths, and the four fearlessnesses, and the three non-protections, and the three mindfulnesses, and the nature of non-weariness, and the imprints.
