Introducing luminosity and so on. Introducing luminosity and so on. Introducing that itself as luminosity. Third, introducing luminosity and so on has six aspects: introducing that itself as luminosity, introducing that itself as Mahamudra, introducing that itself as Mahayana, introducing that itself as Madhyamaka, introducing that itself as Prajnaparamita, and introducing that itself as qualities. First, introducing that itself as luminosity: As stated in the "Sutra of the Sun's Utter Illumination": "What is yoga? It is the mind's nature, luminosity, unmade, uncorrected, unadulterated, the true one. What is conduct? It is practicing it without error. One who practices in this way is called a Bhikshu Yoga practitioner." The meaning of what is said is: the ground of all, the wisdom Mahamudra, the great Madhyamaka, the great vehicle, the great Prajnaparamita, the Tathagatagarbha itself, when the six limbs are practiced through the binding union of actions, what manifests is: the appearance of the container and its contents, earth, water, fire, wind, earth, stones, mountains, cliffs, plants, forests, the forms of the six realms of beings, all bodies and enjoyments, with substance, with obstruction, mutually obscuring, are not like that, but all are the nature of light, the essence of light, the transformation of light, the distinctions of light, the particularities of light, the forms of light, the mind that is the nature of freedom from elaboration, is only luminosity, as it is extensively played out. From the Great Play: "Profound, peaceful, free from elaboration, luminosity, uncompounded. I have found one Dharma like nectar." And from the Eight Thousand Verses: "That mind is no-mind, the nature of mind is luminosity." The meaning is that the mind of ultimate truth is the luminosity of the absence of mind in conventional truth. In the Hundred Thousand and Twenty Thousand, etc., there is the Samadhi called "Utterly Scattering Rays," and similarly, the Samadhi of "Infinite Light," the Samadhi of "Making Light," the Samadhi of "Universally Illuminating," the Samadhi of "Stainless Light," the Samadhi of "Clear Appearance," the Samadhi of "Making Appearance," and the Samadhi called "Making Light in All Ways," these Samadhis, are explained by what was said before. From the Praise of Names: Great Nose Light.

Manifest. Great light appears as cloth, the one who holds the light and shines, great splendor, bright light. Thus it is said. In the root tantra of empowerment, it is said, "Various forms and sounds are pleasant and luminous." Thus it is said. In the Great Sky Tantra, it is said, "Light is the Great Sky itself. If you realize the nature of the Dharmakaya, whether there is accomplishment or not, that itself is great accomplishment." Thus it is said. In the Vajra Garland Tantra, it is said, "The clear state of luminosity is the utterly pure Dharmadhatu, the supreme non-dual wisdom, fully awakened and fully manifest." Thus it is said. In the Maha Maya, it is said, "All phenomena are luminous by nature, primordially pure and without defilement." Thus it is said. In the Manifestation of Enlightenment, it is said, "All phenomena are like forms and sounds, clear, pure, and without defilement, ungraspable and inexpressible, truly arising from cause and action. Vajrasattva is like a mirror, clear, pure, and without stain, the essence of all Buddhas, entering into the heart of you, my son." Thus it is said, the ungraspable luminosity that is grasped by delusion is the meaning of the manifestation of action from the Sutra of Good Conduct. In the Uttaratantra, it is said, "Because the nature of that mind is luminosity, it sees that afflictions have no essence." Thus it is said. In the Dharmadhatu Praise, it is said, "Even the Dharmadhatu, which is covered by afflictions, is utterly pure, but the light does not shine in samsara; in nirvana, the light transforms." Thus it is said. In the Pramanavarttika, it is said, "The nature of this mind is luminosity; defilements are temporary." Thus it is said. Lord Tilopa said, "Likewise, in a single moment of self-awareness luminosity, all accumulated sins and obscurations are eliminated without remainder." Thus it is said. The hero Saraha said, "Having seen the nature of luminosity, relying on the guru's means and understanding, this Prajnaparamita is found in other sutras, and this all-pervading mind should be diligently cultivated." Thus it is said, the definitive meaning of all sutras and tantras, luminosity, should be cultivated. Lord Shavari said, "Within it, the six realms and so forth, the extremely subtle Nirmanakaya, and the many Sambhogakayas, the various forms and sounds seen are luminosity." Thus it is said. Thus, the pure scriptural authority that shows the ultimate Dharmakaya as luminosity is immeasurable. Thus
