Complete corpses, half corpses, fragmented corpses, corpses with their entrails removed, scattered limbs and bones, decaying corpses, separated skulls and mandibles, and so on. All of these are running, jumping, dancing, drumming, roaring, crying, singing, and so on. This is a terrifying and repulsive, unbearable sight of a charnel ground, an immeasurable, luminous, and boundless manifestation. In the Tantra of the Ocean of Dakinis, it says: "Headless running and others, those without heads are dancing, those lying down and those without feet, heads and hands, etc., are severed. By the power of great Samadhi, they all joyfully dance." This is the meaning of what is said. Great Samadhi refers to the reason for the manifestation of such a sight due to the realization of Samadhi through the practice of the six-branch completion stage that is free from elaboration. Also, in the Two Chapters of Heruka, it says: "First, contemplate the corpse, it is said to be the lord of the Dharmadhatu." And, "The eight yoginis completely surround, and frolic in the charnel ground. By this awareness called 'breath has departed,' the charnel ground is thus manifested." This explains that all the luminous corpses and the various appearances of the charnel ground are the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. Similarly, the appearance of the Alaya-wisdom, such as the armies of gods, asuras, humans, etc., countless terrifying massacres, wars, battles, and deaths, and countless unbearable and fearful sights, a huge execution ground, prisons, and various punishments, bound by five bonds, beheading, cutting off noses, cutting off ears, cutting off hands, cutting off feet, gouging out eyes, extracting hearts, removing entrails, skinning, sawing with saws, branding with red-hot iron, pouring molten copper on the body, throwing into hot water and fire, throwing into pits, tying to execution trees, impaling on sharp stakes, and so on, causing fear and aversion, causing depression and sadness, emptying the heart, and countless dazzling appearances.
