As illustrated in the previous example, at that time, self-awareness and wisdom manifest in various forms of the container and its contents, but they do not exist as substantial entities in conventional reality, just like dreams and illusions. Thus, conventional reality is like consciousness appearing empty like an illusion. Ultimate reality is like wisdom appearing empty like an illusion. Conventional reality is like confusion appearing empty like an illusion. Ultimate reality is like non-confusion appearing empty like an illusion. Conventional reality is like suffering appearing empty like an illusion. Ultimate reality is like bliss appearing empty like an illusion. And so on, similar to the above. Conventional reality is like faults appearing empty like an illusion. Ultimate reality is like qualities appearing empty. Conventional reality is like poverty appearing empty like an illusion. Ultimate reality is like perfection appearing empty like an illusion. Conventional reality is like ignorance appearing empty like an illusion. Ultimate reality is like knowledge appearing empty like an illusion. Conventional reality is like complete defilement appearing empty like an illusion. Ultimate reality is like complete purification appearing empty like an illusion. Conventional reality is like samsara appearing empty like an illusion. Ultimate reality is like nirvana appearing empty like an illusion. Conventional reality is like grasping and the grasped appearing empty like an illusion. Ultimate reality is like non-dual wisdom appearing empty like an illusion. Conventional reality is like the completely imputed and dependent arising appearing empty like an illusion. Ultimate reality is like the thoroughly established appearing empty like an illusion. Conventional reality is like suffering and its origin appearing empty like an illusion. Ultimate reality is like cessation and the path appearing empty like an illusion. Similarly, both truths should be understood as being like dreams and reflections, and so on. Also, when explaining the union of appearance and emptiness in ultimate reality, the *Wisdom Vajra Compendium Tantra* states: "Then, the Tathagatas' realms, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, are like illusions, like the moon in water, like cataracts, like mirages, like dreams, like musical instruments, like cities of gandharvas, like magical tricks, like rainbows, like lightning, like bubbles, like reflections in a mirror. Thus, the way to closely represent the samadhi of great bliss is through twelve examples of illusion." The noble Nagarjuna said: "Whatever yogis focus on, that is an illusion."

Regard as a mother. Like the reflection in a mirror, Dreams, illusions, bubbles, and Optical illusions, who sees them as the same? That is said to be the chief. Seeing and touching, Beings are like illusions, Conventional, without object, and Like illusions, well explained. Thus it is. Therefore, the union of ultimate appearance and the emptiness of conventional things is the union of ultimate appearance and emptiness, like dreams and so on. The union of conventional appearance and emptiness with truth is the union of conventional appearance and emptiness, like dreams and so on. Then, like dreams and so on, although the two truths are no different, the conventional realm does not appear like an illusion, and the conventional consciousness does not perceive it as an illusion. Although it is not true, it is grasped as true, so it is confused and deceived. When one bag of wind, the seed of obscuration, stops, the ultimate realm appears like an illusion, and the ultimate consciousness also perceives it as an illusion, so one attains a samadhi without attachment to anything, and joy and happiness fill the sky. Thus, all the activities of the Dharmakaya are the manifestation of the Alaya consciousness, the self-appearance of the Great Seal, the self-nature of the Great Vehicle, the experience of the Great Madhyamaka, the manifestation of the Tathagatagarbha, the waves of the profound Other-Emptiness, the play of the Clear Light Dharmakaya, the samadhi called the profound appearance of the Prajnaparamita. Therefore, the great sound of activity, the great space of activity, and the great expanse of activity should all be recognized as the ultimate mind.
