What is said in the words? It is the lord who has exhausted all things, both existent and nonexistent. To that Bodhicitta, which is without beginning or end and is peaceful, I prostrate. Similarly, as the noble Nagarjuna said, in the "Praise of Ultimate Bodhicitta": "Dharanis and bhumis, and whatever Buddhas' perfections there are, all these are spoken of by the all-knowing ones as aspects of Bodhicitta." The meaning of this is that the ultimate Bodhicitta of Madhyamaka, which is free from all elaborations, is spoken of by the names of those qualities, from the aspect of whatever qualities it possesses. For example, from the aspect of being the four types of mind, it is called Vajrasattva, and so on. From the aspect of being dharanis, bhumis, and perfections, it is called dharani, and the first and second bhumis, and so on. From the aspect of being the perfection of generosity, and so on, all the omniscient Buddhas of the three times have spoken of it. Therefore, that Madhyamaka Bodhicitta itself is the essence of limitless qualities. Because the names spoken from the aspect of those qualities are also limitless, and according to the ritual, this single ultimate Madhyamaka Bodhicitta is the only one. As it is said in the "Praise of Names": "The name is also great and vast, the meaning is one, without a second, the meaning of Dharma." Thus, the Madhyamaka that is free from extremes and without elaboration is the manifestation of the wisdom of the alaya, the self-appearance of Mahamudra, the self-nature of Mahayana, the experience of Great Madhyamaka, the magical display of the Tathagatagarbha, the profound wave of other-emptiness, the play of the clear light Dharmakaya, the profound appearance of Prajnaparamita, which is called suchness samadhi. Therefore, the great sound of Great Madhyamaka, the vast space of Great Madhyamaka, the great expanse of Great Madhyamaka, all should be recognized as the ultimate mind.
