Wisdom, and a song sung in praise of the wisdom of the Five Buddhas: the essence of all vehicles, the root of all tantras, the ultimate of all sutras and mantras, all the true things sought by those desiring liberation are gathered here. Furthermore, the great wisdom abiding in the body itself is the nature of infinite qualities. Therefore, whatever various qualities there are, they are taken as reasons, and described with various names from various aspects, which is the correct designation in the true sense. As long as there is the Alaya consciousness, the Alaya consciousness will make distinctions. Therefore, the Alaya wisdom of all sentient beings is also different. For example, although space has no distinctions, there is talk of space in a clay pot, space in a copper pot, and space in a gold pot. When the seeds of the two obscurations, the Alaya consciousness, are exhausted and Buddhahood is attained, just as all streams flow into the ocean, all Alaya wisdom becomes one. The Ornament of Sutras says: Not having entered the pure river, the places are different, and the water is also different. The water is small and the actions are different, the water is used by tiny creatures. Having entered the ocean, all the places become one, small becomes large and one. The actions become one, and the creatures in the water are constantly used by many creatures. When not abiding in the state of Buddhahood, the supports are different, and the wisdom is different. The realization is small, one's own actions are different, and it is constantly used by few sentient beings. If abiding in the state of Buddhahood, then all of them, the supports are also one, and the realization is great and one. The activities merge into one and are constant, and are constantly used by vast assemblies of sentient beings. This is the meaning. Therefore, even the Bodhisattvas abiding on the great earth, due to the residue of the Alaya consciousness, the cause of the ground of ignorance and habitual patterns, and the accumulation of the resources of uncontaminated karma, consciously take birth in various different mind-made bodies. When one attains Buddhahood, that one is all the Tathagatas. One thing is the nature of all things, and all things are the nature of one thing.

It means "own nature." Thus, all the manifestations of the great self-born wisdom are the transformations of the alaya consciousness, the self-appearance of the Great Seal, the self-nature of the Great Vehicle, the experience of the Great Middle Way, the manifestations of the Tathagatagarbha, the vibrations of the profound Other-Emptiness, the play of the Clear Light Dharmakaya, and the samadhi called the profound appearance of the Prajnaparamita. Therefore, the great sound of the great self-born wisdom, the great expanse of the great self-born wisdom, and the great pervasiveness of the great self-born wisdom should all be recognized as the mind of ultimate truth. Recognizing this as activity for the benefit of others. Third, recognizing this as activity for the benefit of others, as it is said in the Ornament of Clear Realization: "Thus, as long as samsara exists, this activity will never cease." This means that when the Alaya consciousness Great Seal, the Great Middle Way, the Great Vehicle, the profound Prajnaparamita, and the Tathagatagarbha are practiced with the binding union of the six branches, what manifests is the spontaneous accomplishment of various activities for the benefit of others. As the commentary on the Uttaratantra says: "The activities of a Bodhisattva are thirty-two in number." This means the activity of awakening from the sleep of delusion, similarly, combining inferior aspiration with great aspiration, combining those who do not desire the Dharma with the Dharma, establishing impure livelihood in purity, establishing bad views in good views, establishing improper attention in proper attention, establishing those who abide in wrong Dharma in right Dharma, combining those who are contrary to the six perfections with the six perfections, combining those who are unskilled in means with means, combining those who have afflictions with those who are without afflictions, combining those who have attachment with those who are without attachment, combining those who are unpleasant with those who are pleasant, liberating those who have fallen into the four rivers from them, establishing unpleasant teachings in pleasant ones, establishing those who are very attached in those who are not attached, establishing those who have no noble wealth in wealth, establishing those who are sick in those who are healthy, establishing those who have no light of wisdom in light, establishing those who do not understand the three realms in understanding, and entering the wrong path.
