There are samadhis of pacification, samadhis of manifestation, and samadhis called 'making light in all forms,' and that samadhi, as explained before. In the 'Namasangiti' it says: 'Great-nosed, luminous one, great light manifesting, holding light in hand, great glorious, luminous one.' In the 'Empowerment Summary Tantra' it says: 'Various pleasant forms, luminous.' In the 'Great Space Tantra' it says: 'Luminosity is the great space itself; if the nature of the Dharmakaya is realized, whether accomplishments exist or not, that itself is the great accomplishment.' In the 'Vajra Garland Tantra' it says: 'The state of luminosity is clear, the utterly pure Dharmadhatu, the supreme non-dual wisdom, fully awakened and fully manifest.' In the 'Mahamaya' it says: 'The nature of all dharmas is luminosity, primordially pure and without defilement.' In the 'Manifest Enlightenment of Vairocana' it says: 'All dharmas are like pleasant forms, clear, pure, and without defilement, ungraspable and unspeakable, truly arising from cause and action. Vajrasattva is like a mirror, clear, pure, and without stain, the essence of all Buddhas, entering into the heart of you, my son.' Thus, the ungraspable luminosity grasped by delusion is the meaning of the action manifestly arising from the 'Samantabhadra Conduct Prayer.' In the 'Uttaratantra' it says: 'Because the nature of that mind is luminosity, it sees that afflictions have no essence.' In the 'Dharmadhatu Praise' it says: 'Likewise, the Dharmadhatu covered by afflictions, even the most immaculate, in samsara, the light is not clear, in nirvana, the light becomes clear.' In the 'Pramanavarttika' it says: 'The nature of this mind is luminosity; all defilements are adventitious.' Je Tailopa said: 'Likewise, in a moment of self-knowing luminosity, it eliminates all accumulated sins and obscurations of eons.' The hero Sarahha said: 'Having seen that very dharma of luminosity, relying on the guru's time and means, and re-realizing, this Prajnaparamita is found in other sutras, and this mind applied to all should be diligently meditated upon.' Thus, the essential meaning of all sutras and tantras, this luminosity, should be meditated upon. Je Shawari said: 'Within it are the six realms, etc., and the shi'
