The appearance of dreams is joyful, happy, auspicious, abundant, and perfect. Holding great joy instruments. Respectful service is complete. The fame of supreme joy, glory appearing to fill the sky. As it says in the Ornament of Realization: Even in dreams, all phenomena should be seen as dreamlike. The sleep of the yogi Lavapa is like a dream. Thus, the manifestation of the wisdom of the alaya, the self-appearance of the Great Seal, the self-nature of the Great Vehicle, the experience of the Great Madhyamaka, the magical display of the Tathagatagarbha, the profound swaying of Other-Emptiness, the play of the clear light Dharmakaya, the profound appearance of Prajnaparamita, the six objects of samadhi, including dreams, should all be recognized as the heart of ultimate truth.

Like the sky, all phenomena are gathered there without exception. As stated in the Two Examinations Tantra: "That is mantra, that is asceticism, that is offering and burning. That is mandala, that is the mandala itself. In short, mind is the form of aggregation." The meaning of what is said, etc., is: The ground of all, the wisdom of the Great Seal, the Great Middle Way, the Great Vehicle, the profound Prajnaparamita, the Tathagatagarbha itself, the union that binds its function, when the six branches are practiced, what manifests is: The six faculties, such as the essence of the eye of the non-elaborate Middle Way, and the six objects, such as the form of Vajra Mother of the ultimate Great Vehicle, and the six consciousnesses, such as the eye consciousness of the mind-nature Great Seal. The manifestation of the eighteen realms of the Tathagatagarbha is, as stated in the Praise of Dharmadhatu: "From the eye and form, nakedly, arises the stainless appearance. From the unborn and unceasing, the Dharmadhatu is fully known. Relying on sound and ear, three pure consciousnesses arise. The signless is the Dharmadhatu, with conceptualization it becomes hearing. Relying on nose and smell, various things arise, that is an example of the formless. Likewise, the nose consciousness discriminates the Dharmadhatu. The nature of the tongue is emptiness itself, the realm of taste is also solitary. By the nature of the Dharmadhatu, consciousness has no place. The nature of the pure body and the characteristics of the condition of touch, liberated from pure conditions, are called Dharmadhatu. For the phenomena in which mind is the chief, abandoning conceptualization and permanence, all phenomena are without inherent nature, one should meditate in the Dharmadhatu. Seeing, hearing, coarseness, extinction, and touch, the yogi, knowing phenomena in this way, perfects the characteristics. Eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and likewise mind, the six pure sources, this is that, this is the characteristic." Furthermore, if the movement of conceptual thought, like fire, is extinguished, then the illusion of attachment and aversion, like smoke, will be cut off. The yogi's experience, the six objects of luminosity, and the emptiness of the six objects of attachment, appear separately in self-awareness.
