You practiced single-pointedly in solitude with great diligence, so I developed faith in you and requested the Dharma. From now on, everyone swore, 'We will never do evil deeds again.' Please, great teacher, do not say that, please do not leave no matter what. As you said, from now until I die, and even until I attain Buddhahood, I will never disobey your teachings.' As they said this, everyone prostrated and earnestly made their request. Then, the Lama said, 'Because you are disciples of the teacher, it is good to do so. Well then, to not stray from my command, keep your vows; you protect the Buddha's teachings; especially to the disciples who have become the lineage of the Wheel of Teachings, protect and help them, and be their companions; do not stray from your samaya, act in accordance with the Dharma, and I will stay.' There, all the non-humans were delighted and said, 'We will do as you say, and keep it in mind.' Having said that, everyone rose into the sky and left like a rainbow disappearing. Again, after some time, the teacher was meditating in a stone cave. At that time, there was a commotion outside the door. He stood up and looked out from on top of a large rock by the door, and saw many horsemen carrying a wounded person as a hostage, fleeing. He wondered what was happening. Those people said, 'They are catching up, entrust the wounded person to the teacher and let's run!' Having said that, they threw the wounded person in front of the teacher and fled. As he looked down, he saw many horsemen outside wearing armor and carrying weapons, running up with their bows drawn, saying, 'Let's see if he escapes!' The teacher said, 'Don't run! I am between you, listen to me!' Everyone stopped running and gathered together. Then, they turned back and waited slowly for a while. After that, the fleeing people came and carried the wounded person away. They said, 'It seems he (the teacher) can't do anything. Today we were blocked thanks to the teacher.' They prostrated and went towards the mountains. After they had gone up, the horsemen who had been chasing them came up and said, 'Let's offer today's spoils of battle to the teacher!' They prostrated and offered generous gifts, saying, 'Thanks to your blocking.' It seems they were gods or demons.

Although he knew, he pretended not to know and asked, 'Who are you people?' They said, 'We are non-humans, the demons of this place are causing trouble.' After saying that, they went back. Later, one night, those who had brought the injured horses to be cared for, brought many of their relatives, children, women, and so on. There, they also made many offerings of butter and curd. One of the most powerful leaders among them offered a full jar of yogurt to the master, saying, 'Master, you have saved us with great kindness. If we had not run away after entrusting the injured horses that day, it seems that many people would have been killed. Now, please teach us the Dharma, and we will definitely follow it and become your disciples.' Lama Barompa said, 'How did you see me at that time?' As we were running away in fear, above that rock, from a great fire that was burning straight into the sky, we saw the master standing. Now we have entrusted ourselves here and run away.' They also saw it that way, so they didn't chase after us.' It is said that there, the master taught the Dharma, and they said, 'Thank you so much!' Then they all disappeared. In general, he stayed at Rinchen Pungpa for four years. He built a monastery at Do Drak, and including the time before and after, he stayed at Barom for a total of seven years. After that, Tsi Lung Khawa invited him to Kham. On the way, he sang the Hari Nar song and danced, leaving footprints. He stayed at the rock of Tsi Gyü Ko Dzo for many years. There he built a monastery. He personally saw the eight great siddhas, which was very helpful for his practice, and placed beings on the path of maturation and liberation. After that, he went back to Ü-Tsang and stayed at Barom Monastery for thirteen years, nurturing the Sangha. One day, at Drakmar Dzongchen in Barom, in the sky directly above the rock crevices between the upper and lower levels, a very wonderful and huge peacock umbrella appeared, swaying in the sky. Just as he was thinking, 'What is this that has never been seen before?' Lama Barompa was under that umbrella, facing east, making the earth-pressing mudra. It is said that some attendants saw it. Also, once, while consecrating two golden stupas and some thangkas, a Kadampa Geshe saw the master's form as Shakyamuni Buddha. The master said to him, 'You
