I argued that he was killed by lightning. The master Jowo said, "What do you know?" Gentle Glory). Although he said he didn't understand Bari and Zari, he seemed to believe in the meaning. Then, after some time, he met Sorkha Dorwa of North Namra, loaded books and other necessities on a white horse, and took a servant to prepare by a river. A monk came, prostrated, and asked where he was from. The attendant explained in detail that he was Marpa Lotsawa, a student of the great accomplished Naropa. He (the monk) was Ngokton Chodor, and he had great faith, so he invited him. He requested many empowerments and instructions and served him well. Then he went to Phan Yul and raised nineteen goat kids, each of which was sold for eleven zho of gold. He learned the evil mantra of Remati, and many people like Tsang Dar Ye came to seek Dharma. All the offerings were turned into gold, so he accumulated a lot of gold. At that time, a merchant from Damnying Drung, named Marpa Goyak, went to make offerings out of kinship because they shared the same clan name. There, a discussion arose, and he said, "In Kyammo of Phan Yul, they paint the feathers of birds. From North Khanang Gyad, they paint the hides of yaks." So he said to go to his place. When he went to Dam, he made many offerings and services. At that time, he acted as if he was very attached to wealth, so the students were a little unhappy. He said, "I am not attached to wealth, but to repay the kindness of the lamas and to make offerings to those wonderful sacred objects." So everyone believed him. For some patrons who did not believe, he performed entering the corpses of dead lambs and yaks, so the fame of the accomplished one spread in all directions, and there were many Dharma requests and offerings. Then, one night, near dawn, countless dakinis came, with the sounds of singing, dancing, and music, explaining and bestowing the symbolic meanings previously spoken by Naropa. Tailopa prophesied: Son of Naropa! You, Lhundrup Chokyi Lodro! In the monastery of Pullahari, the yogi Naropa, vanished into the realm of no birth. If you go, come with us!" Thus they urged him. Marpa woke up from his sleep and wept greatly with intense longing. Goyak got up and asked, "What are you doing like this?" He said, "It seems I have to go to India."

He completed the making of the wooden religious items. There, a person named Goya offered a tea bowl called "Jade Lion Head," with a capacity of four "sik," and many piebald white-headed horses, etc. By transforming these items into gold, he obtained more than three hundred taels of gold. Goya and nineteen disciples escorted him to Mangyu and then returned to their homeland. After that, he went to Nepal and offered half a tael of gold to Pedawa as a gift. The master took the gift and said, "Child, you have no father. Why didn't you come last year?" He cried and said that the master had passed away. Then, he offered one tael of gold to the master Chiterwa as a gift, and upon meeting him, the master said as before. He held a tsok offering for the two masters and offered prayers and aspirations to the sacred tree deity, and then went to India. He met the monk Sherab Senge and offered one tael of gold as a gift. He recounted in detail the story of the master's passing. He said, "One thangka of Hevajra, one kapala containing the root tantra, and one vajra bell, these should be given to Marpa who is coming from Tibet." There, Marpa remembered the master and was very sad, and asked, "What should I do to become famous?" The master asked, "How much gold is there?" Marpa replied, "A lot." The master said, "Oh, if so, then everything has meaning. Go to Maitripa and other accomplished ones and pray, because you are a prophesied person with good karma, go and meet them and then come back." After that, he went to the presence of the Victorious Maitripa. That place was filled with gardens of red flowers, with dazzling light, capable of turning people and things red. It is said that the mountain with dazzling flowers burned like a flame. There, he saw the Venerable Maitripa sitting by a tree, radiating light. He offered prostrations and a golden mandala, held a tsok offering for a month, and prayed. He also saw many miraculous sights. On the day of the full moon, he dreamed bad dreams and good dreams. A jewel victory banner fluttered at the top, a beautiful woman glanced sideways in a mirror, a great patron's ship sailed, a victory banner was erected above a flying bird, and he dreamed that the bird's head pointed towards Tibet." The master said, "You will meet the glorious Naropa." After that, he went to the presence of Kukkuripa, who came from the island of the Poison Lake and was sitting at the base of all the Tingting trees by the water. He held a tsok offering.
