In a solitary place, either a pleasant place adorned with flowers and fruits, or in a cemetery, or on a mountaintop, or under a tree, or in a cave, or in an empty temple, etc., in such a terrifying place, fearing that non-humans may cause obstacles, sit on a comfortable cushion in a place of diligent effort, put a nectar pill in your mouth, and first of all, it is crucial to accumulate merit. If merit is not accumulated, no qualities will arise. From a transcendent perspective, the Buddha's Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya are also the result of accumulating merit. From a worldly perspective, Brahma, Indra, and the Universal Monarch, etc., are also the result of accumulating merit. Therefore, the root of all happiness and qualities is solely the accumulation of merit, it is said. As it is said in the Sutra of the Tale of Prince Sonam Tob: Accumulating merit is happiness, therefore people should accumulate merit, therefore accumulate it again and again, and from today onwards, practice it continuously. As the great accomplished master said: Happiness is joy, joy is long-lasting, joy is uninterrupted, joy is harmless, that perfect and complete joy comes from practicing Dharma. As Lama Zhang said: Purifying obscurations such as Dharma, this is the heartfelt advice of a poor man like me. Therefore, one should strive to accumulate merit. The method of accumulating merit is mentioned here as arising from great compassion, which is merely symbolic. Whatever beings of the Mahayana lineage practice, they must first generate the mind of Bodhicitta. If one's mind is not tamed by the four immeasurables, genuine Bodhicitta will not arise. Therefore, one must first tame one's mind with the four immeasurables, which are: loving-kindness, wishing all beings to have happiness; compassion, wishing all beings to be free from suffering; joy, wishing all beings never to be separated from happiness until enlightenment; and equanimity, wishing all beings to be equal in emptiness, without near or far. After cultivating the four immeasurables in this way, in order to free all those beings from the suffering of samsara,

Now, in order to attain the state of complete enlightenment as glorious Heruka in this very life, cultivating the mind of enlightenment by meditating on the co-emergent body is the accumulation of merit. The precious Lama said that if one enjoys elaborate rituals, it is good to perform the seven-branch offering, taking refuge, generating the mind of enlightenment, and so on at this time. Second, accumulating the accumulation of wisdom is to recite from "Om Svabhava" to "transformed into emptiness." This means that all phenomena are originally of the nature of emptiness, so in this state, let the mind relax naturally without artificiality. If explained in detail, Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Om) refers to the Buddhas who possess the three bodies and five wisdoms. Svabhava Shuddha (Tibetan: སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་ཤུདྡྷ, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वभाव शुद्ध, Sanskrit Romanization: svabhāva śuddha, literal Chinese meaning: self-nature pure) means pure by nature. What is pure? Sarva Dharma (Tibetan: སརྦ་དྷརྨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: सर्वधर्म, Sanskrit Romanization: sarvadharma, literal Chinese meaning: all phenomena) refers to all phenomena. Sanskrit Romanization: svabhāva śuddho'ham, literal Chinese meaning: I am also pure by nature) means that I am also pure by nature. Manifesting these meanings means that merely reciting the mantra, one must also remember its meaning: all phenomena are originally devoid of all elaboration, beyond all characteristics, unconditioned, luminous, uncompounded, free from all arising and ceasing, and pure by nature. If one truly realizes this, one should do this: with the mind observing the mind, the root of all phenomena is one's own mind, the mind itself has no color, nor any substance, free from all attachments, clear and knowing without cessation, remembering that it is the nature of pervading all. Transforming the ordinary body into emptiness is only a symbol. After thinking in this way, starting from the ordinary body, all phenomena contained in the outer and inner world, like clouds rising from the sky or a rainbow disappearing, are suddenly transformed into emptiness, thinking nothing, discriminating nothing, and not keeping anything in mind. In the state of non-discrimination, let the mind relax naturally and abide as much as possible, this is called the accumulation of wisdom. The reason is that one is attached to the accumulation of merit, which is the root of virtuous deeds that are conditioned.

If you cling to all the dharmas encompassed by samsara and nirvana, you are also astray. In order to abandon attachment and clinging, and as the cause for attaining the fruit of the Dharmakaya, this alone is important. The master Tilopa also said: The yogi of attachment and clinging, is like a bee stuck to honey. Naropa, let go of clinging! Lord Gampopa also said: The path to attaining Buddhahood is near, it is simply to leave the mind uncorrected and abide, do not believe in anything else. Therefore, accumulating the accumulation of wisdom is called Dzogchen, or Mahamudra, or the ultimate view. These all show the accumulation of the accumulation of wisdom. Second, the main part or practice, starting from "in an instant," it is said that accumulating the accumulation of merit and wisdom in this way, from which the fruit of Buddhahood arises, is the nature of knowable things or the Dharma. Similarly, having accumulated the two accumulations of preliminary practices, at the time of the main practice, the way to learn to achieve perfect Buddhahood is from within emptiness. That is to say, all dharmas arise from within emptiness, abide also abide within emptiness, and dissolve also dissolve within emptiness, similarly, the two form bodies for the benefit of others also arise from within the emptiness that does not depart from the Dharmakaya, so it is said to be within emptiness. The meaning of "in an instant" is that it does not arise from emptiness in sequence like seed syllables, but the complete Sambhogakaya is accomplished in an instant, so it is said to be in an instant. Various lotuses refer to the symbol of the lotus seat that is not stained by the faults of samsara. The sun refers to the symbol of drying up the ocean of suffering of samsara, the center of the lotus is decorated with the sun. On top of that, it means to meditate on the glorious co-emergent father and mother in union on the seat of the lotus and the sun. So, what is that like? That is, the glorious Heruka with his right leg extended is a symbol of wisdom not abiding in existence. The left leg bent is a symbol of compassion not abiding in peace. Fearful and time
