Homage to all the venerable lamas. I dreamed that a great pillar was erected in the east. I dreamed that a lion was enthroned on the pillar. I dreamed that the lion's turquoise mane grew luxuriantly. I dreamed that the lion soared in the white expanse of snow. The eastern dream is not a bad dream, but a good dream. I dreamed that a great pillar was erected in the south. I dreamed that a tigress roared on the pillar. I dreamed that the tiger's claws grew from the corners of its mouth. I dreamed that it smiled three times. I dreamed that the tiger soared in the forest. I dreamed that it was connected to the lineage of the Thang tree. The southern dream is not a bad dream, but a good dream. I dreamed that a great pillar was erected in the west. I dreamed that a great garuda descended on the pillar. I dreamed that the garuda's feathers grew luxuriantly. The great pillar erected in the east is Tsurton Wang-nge of Dol. The lion enthroned on the pillar is like a lion in his character. The lion's turquoise mane growing luxuriantly is the understanding of the lama's instructions. The lion soaring in the white expanse of snow is a sign of having grasped the lineage of the instructions. The eastern dream is a good dream, that is how it is. The great pillar erected in the south is Ngokton Chödor of Gyung. The tigress roaring on the pillar is like a tiger in his character. The tiger's claws growing from the corners of its mouth is the understanding of the lama's instructions. Smiling three times is a sign of the flourishing of the teachings of the explanatory lineage. The tiger soaring in the forest is a sign of having attained accomplishment in one lifetime. Being connected to the lineage of the Thang tree is the transmission through descendants.

这是把握住的征兆。南方的梦是吉祥的。太阳落山时竖立大柱子，那是藏绒的梅敦尊波。柱子上降落大鹏鸟，他的人品像大鹏鸟一样。鹏鸟顶端的羽毛茂盛生长，那是领悟了上师的教诲。鸟毛飘向天空，那是掌握了教诲传承的征兆。鸟眼向上看，那是向轮回告别的征兆。西方的梦是吉祥的。太阳在北方竖立大柱子，那是你，贡塘的米拉日巴。柱子上降落雄鹰，你的人品像雄鹰一样。雄鹰顶端的羽毛茂盛生长，那是领悟了上师的教诲。鸟巢筑在岩石上，那是生命比岩石还坚硬的征兆。那只鸟生了一个孩子，那是将出现一个无与伦比的对手的征兆。乌鸦填满天空，那是噶举派的教法兴盛的征兆。北方的梦是吉祥的。如果我老人的话应验，那么修法的传承将会兴盛。说完，菩萨定下决心，心想如果我能付出努力，就不会有疑虑，一种高昂的感觉持续不断地涌现。就这样说了。另外，至尊仁波切说：见地有三钉，修行有三钉，行为有三钉，果实有三钉。当讲述见地的三钉时，显现和存在都融入心中，心性处于明晰的状态，但对它没有执着。这就是见地的三钉。当讲述修行的三钉时，念头是法身，觉性处于明晰的状态，保持在不造作的自然状态。这就是修行的三钉。当讲述行为的三钉时，没有要实践的十善，没有要抛弃的十恶，没有要用对治来修正的。这就是行为的三钉。当讲述果实的三钉时，没有要抛弃的轮回，没有要成就的涅槃，自己的心就是佛。这就是果实的三钉。从十二钉中单独打入一钉，这钉是法性空性的钉。

This is a sign of grasping. The dream in the south is auspicious. Erecting a great pillar as the sun sets, that is Meton Tsonpo of Tsangrong. A great garuda descends on the pillar, his character is like a garuda. The feathers at the top of the garuda grow luxuriantly, that is understanding the guru's teachings. Bird feathers float into the sky, that is a sign of mastering the lineage of teachings. The bird's eyes look upwards, that is a sign of bidding farewell to samsara. The dream in the west is auspicious. Erecting a great pillar in the north as the sun rises, that is you, Milarepa of Gungtang. An eagle descends on the pillar, your character is like an eagle. The feathers at the top of the eagle grow luxuriantly, that is understanding the guru's teachings. A bird's nest is built on a rock, that is a sign that life is harder than rock. That bird gives birth to one child, that is a sign that an unparalleled opponent will appear. Crows fill the sky, that is a sign that the Kagyu teachings will flourish. The dream in the north is auspicious. If the words of me, an old man, come true, then the lineage of Dharma practice will flourish. Having said this, the bodhisattva resolved, thinking that if I could put in effort, there would be no doubt, and a feeling of high spirits constantly arose. Thus it was said. Furthermore, the venerable Jetsun Rinpoche said: There are three nails in view, there are three nails in meditation, there are three nails in action, there are three nails in fruition. When explaining the three nails of view, appearance and existence are integrated into the mind, the nature of mind is in a state of clarity, but there is no clinging to it. These are the three nails of view. When explaining the three nails of meditation, thoughts are the dharmakaya, awareness is in a state of clarity, remaining in an unfabricated, natural state. These are the three nails of meditation. When explaining the three nails of action, there are no ten virtues to practice, no ten non-virtues to abandon, and nothing to be corrected with antidotes. These are the three nails of action. When explaining the three nails of fruition, there is no samsara to abandon, no nirvana to achieve, one's own mind is Buddha. These are the three nails of fruition. Apart from the twelve nails, drive in one nail, this nail is the nail of emptiness of dharmata.
