May you bless me to be content and able to guide beings. May the experience of bliss and clarity arise in the continuum, Through self-awareness, may I recognize my own nature. May day and night activities blend together, May I be blessed with firmness and certainty. May the practitioner, through abandoning practice in its own place, May naked emptiness-awareness arise from within, May the subtle and coarse siblings be purified in their own place, May emptiness be unchanging. May the union of appearance and emptiness arise from within, May active awareness be liberated in its own place, May I constantly grasp the original nature, May it be stable without meditation or post-meditation. May day and night dreams be pure from the beginning, May I be free from attachment to what is to be meditated upon and the meditator, May cyclic existence and nirvana, all phenomena, gather into one, May the four kayas be spontaneously accomplished. May the activity be the greatest of all phenomena, May I constantly lead cyclic existence to its end, May the uncreated, other appearances satisfy the senses, May they arise without interruption. May the blessings of praying to the lineage masters, Make whatever I do become Dharma, Make whatever I think be spontaneously accomplished, May my wishes be fulfilled as desired! This was written by Chöje Sönam Zangpo at the urging of Ratna Bhadra in the secluded Kyö Drak hermitage. Homage! Thus spoke the glorious Vajradhara: Namo Guru! O great Bodhisattva, listen! If you wish to go to the realm of the Dakinis, First, with the wisdom of hearing, Cut off the imputations on outer and inner dharmas. Second, with the wisdom of thinking, Familiarize yourself with that meaning in your continuum. Finally, with the wisdom of meditating, Pacify the afflictions of self-grasping. To a qualified lama on the path of accumulation, Offer the three pleasing offerings. On the path of joining, with the lama's instructions, Train in shamatha and vipashyana in your continuum. On the path of seeing, with the purification of the five eyes, See your own mind as unborn. On the path of meditation, with the three samadhis, Familiarize yourself with the original path. On the path of consummation, with the exhaustion of the two obscurations, Lead all phenomena to exhaustion. Now again, listen to the essence of the collection, If there is instruction, it is perfect. If there is scripture and reasoning, it is omniscient. If there is experience, it cuts off wrong paths. If you stay alone, you are free from the eight worldly concerns. If you pray to the lama, you will attain siddhis.
