With realms and afflictive habitual patterns, etc., to tame with the antidotes of this and that, through guidance, realization will arise. The teaching of how to practice that meaning is: to the gradual one, the instruction of extracting the essence is taught; to the sudden transcendence one, the instruction of combining is taught; to the instantaneous one, the instruction of introduction is taught; to the beginner, shamatha-vipashyana and post-meditation are taught; practice shamatha-vipashyana and post-meditation with equal taste. To realize the Mahamudra of one's own mind, there is no order of abandoning and adopting in shamatha-vipashyana and post-meditation. All phenomena of samsara and nirvana, without exception, are not established as something other than one's own mind. Having realized the nature of mind, there is no separate meditation; when unfamiliar, there is mindfulness and non-mindfulness; when familiar, everything appears as meditation. The essential teaching of how to practice is: uncorrected means unadulterated; in the uninterrupted flow of primordial wisdom, without letting go or holding, it naturally abides. In the clear ocean of unborn luminosity, the various appearances of conceptual thoughts, like waves and bubbles, naturally dissolve in the union of non-duality, remain as they are. Experience and realization arise without distinction; although there is no abandoning or adopting, obscurations are naturally purified. In the Dharmakaya, free from elaboration, non-dual union, qualities of temporary and ultimate benefit manifest. This emptiness, dependent arising, is the unborn, luminous, empty, substantial dharma. Appearances of white and red, various forms of emptiness, non-dual wisdom, union, Mahamudra. From meditating on that, all qualities arise, just as light exists when the sun exists. What is the need for meditating on emptiness? The mind will give rise to joy for the benefit of others. Understand that the arising of meditation is the kindness of the lama; generate faith and respect that the lama is the Buddha; generate pure faith from the depths of your bones. From the qualities of other outer and inner philosophical systems, to the precious qualities of your own lama, without generating doubt or hope, generate unwavering, stable, trusting faith. On the cause and effect of samsara, the cause and effect of nirvana, meditate on the non-dual, natural samadhi, manifest the obstruction with the faith of desire, with the wheel of the three faiths uninterrupted, guiding beings is for the benefit of others, guiding beings of all

Towards the aged mothers of sentient beings, Experiencing immeasurable suffering of samsara, Great compassion arises naturally and forcefully. To eliminate the suffering of beings, Emptiness and compassion should always be meditated upon. Focusing on sentient beings, one acts for the benefit of others with compassion. Through realizing one's own mind as the Great Seal, The minds of sentient beings and one's own mind, Are the same as the mind of the Buddha; these three are alike. Without realizing one's own mind, towards all sentient beings, A great compassion arises that is focused on the Dharma. Understanding the minds of others is benefiting others. Thus, it is said in the "Collection of Noble Ones Sutra": "As I am, know all sentient beings to be the same; As all sentient beings are, know all dharmas to be the same; Realize the ultimate union of samsara and nirvana, the non-duality." The sentient beings and the three who meditate on compassion, Since there is no distinguishing between object and subject, Although all dharmas are of equal nature, Compassion naturally arises for those who suffer. The three of sentient beings, dharma, and objectless compassion, With the compassion of unborn, clear light, self-nature, Guiding beings is benefiting others. Thus, it is said in the "Collection of Noble Ones Sutra": "Although great compassion arises, there is no perception of sentient beings." As it is said, what is the purpose of meditating on the unborn? It is to generate wisdom that understands the meaning of oneself and others. The wisdom of the Buddhas of the three times, Is said to arise from perfect wisdom. The three wisdoms of studying ultimate and conventional truths, One's own mind is primordially pure, free from elaboration. Realizing one's own mind is ultimate wisdom. Regarding the causes and effects of samsara and nirvana, With the wisdom of knowing them distinctly without confusion, Abandoning causelessness, confusion of cause and effect, Eternality, annihilation, transference, and indefinite extremes, The wrong views obscured by the darkness of ignorance. With the conventional wisdom of distinguishing the white and black of karmic results, Of correct cause and effect, dependent origination, Guiding others to virtue is benefiting others. Regarding the Buddha's words, treatises, instructions, and dharmas, Through much and extensive hearing, Cutting off the external attachments of object and subject. By constantly cultivating through hearing and contemplation, The dharmas of virtue and non-virtue arise from objects, It is thought that by stopping objects, the mind itself is stopped. The springhead cannot be suppressed by earth, Consciousness
