When he was staying there, he remembered the Lama's words. He borrowed twelve sho of gold from Gyapa Serre and set off with a friend named Rasgom Raspa. When they arrived at Yarlung, they met a donkey trader from Tsang who said, "Jetsun passed away on the fourteenth of the Horse Month." He also handed over a staff and a piece of coarse cloth as sacred objects for offering. There, he shed many tears and fainted. Everyone present massaged his hands and feet and splashed a lot of water on his face, and after a while, he regained consciousness. He scattered an ounce of gold in all directions and sang this song to pray to the Lama. Ah! When the Lord went to the peak of Gangkar, It is like the behavior of a white lion. A yogi who subdues the appearance of others with majesty. Ah! When the Lord went into the midst of the forest, It is like the behavior of a spotted tiger. A yogi free from hope and fear. Ah! When the Lord went to the peak of White Rock, It is like the behavior of a white vulture. A yogi who has completely cut off external bonds. Ah! When the Lord wanders in remote hermitages without bias, It is like the behavior of all wild animals. A yogi who has cut off material bonds. Ah! When the Lord dwells among his retinue, It is like the behavior of Vajradhara. A yogi who guides us fortunate ones. Ah! The Lord's behavior is like an elephant, Undoubtedly in a state without meditation and post-meditation. Ah! The Lord's behavior is like a small child, Undoubtedly without attachment in his heart. Ah! The Lord's behavior is beyond thought, Undoubtedly he has realized the truth. Ah! When the Lord possesses pure clairvoyance, Undoubtedly the nature of his inner mind is clear. Ah! The Lord's attachment to food and drink is small, Undoubtedly he nourishes himself with meditation. Ah! Lord, like the king of wish-fulfilling jewels, You naturally have all that is needed. Ah! Lord, like the full moon in the midst of stars, You are the most beautiful among many. Ah! Lord, like a lotus in the mud, You are not stained by the faults of samsara. You are very kind to all beings, Fulfilling all the wishes of the Kagyu lineage. Your qualities are immeasurable, I have only praised you slightly, Please consider with compassion and take me in. Although there are no material offerings, I will strive to practice, Until I become one with the Dharmakaya, May the stream of blessings not be interrupted.

Now. Please do not abandon me with the iron hook of compassion. Through the merit of this praise, May I meet the venerable one himself! Having met, may you bless me! Thus he said. Also, one night in a dream, a child was there, His head was cut off, severing the lineage, The corpse was thrown into a ravine. After that, no more dreams came, It was said that he was going into the clear light, So at that time he spoke this song. From the state of great bliss, the Dharmadhatu, take a melody. In the state of wisdom, plant a word. Settle this meaning of non-duality. This selfless compassion without attachment, Hold it tightly as the supreme method. This co-emergent consciousness, Hold it tightly as wisdom. If definite knowledge arises, that is it. This conceptual thought that grasps at characteristics, Hold it tightly as the Dharmakaya. If you experience it, you will see the essence. These imputed habitual tendencies, appearances, and sounds, Hold them tightly as ultimate truth. If definite knowledge arises, that is it. This conceptual thought that arises as characteristics, If stability is attained, you will see the truth. If you want to realize its meaning, Experience it like the flow of a river. Do not make too many alterations, just relax. Do not look around, rest in your own place. Do not hold it in your mind, let it be. Experience and realization are one. To realize it without interruption is it. To be happy without grasping is it. To be clear without aiming is it. To be equal like the sky is it. To see your own mind as Buddha is it. Do you think you have directly realized the nature of reality? Do you think characteristics are liberated in their own place? Do you think it is spontaneously accomplished without thinking? It is not the domain of ordinary people. It is not understood by great learning. It is not known by great wisdom. It is not the domain of examination by thought. It is abiding on the path of blessing. It is relying on the words of the Lama. It is realized by those with faith. It is understood by those with karmic connection. Have you realized it in this way, all great practitioners? It is not something to be spoken to everyone. Thus he said. In general, it took great effort for me to generate the lineage of meditation. Now it seems that you can generate it effortlessly, because on top of this profound instruction of the path of liberation, This Kagyu lineage has a blessing that is unmatched by other lineages. Having said that, he spoke this song. The view changes
