Regarding the activity: As it is said in the 'Praise by the Buddha': 'Manifestly expressed in two, three, and seven,' therefore: Hum! Avalokiteshvara, possessor of loving compassion! Beholding all beings, with the very nature of pure generosity! Bhagavan Mother who emanates for the sake of beings! I prostrate and praise the possessor of loving compassion! One face, two arms, with the color of Indra's blue! Like a youthful maiden of sixteen! The right hand bestowing supreme generosity, the left holding an utpala! I prostrate and praise the Mother of the Buddhas of the three times! Adorned with precious jewels, possessing a smiling radiance! Perfectly complete with enjoyment, all ornaments without exception complete! The four activities, the treasure of all accomplishments! I prostrate and praise the Mother who fulfills needs and desires! After praising in this way, recite the Twenty-One Taras Praise twice, then, perform the drawing in and releasing on the vase, and recite extensively. Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha! Recite one hundred times, 'Arya Tara' recite one hundred times, then recite the praise three times again. After reciting the approach one hundred times, perform the praise seven times. Fifteenth, the confession: Generate remorse with immeasurable devotion, join the palms at the heart: O venerable assembly of noble goddesses, heed me! I, due to ignorance and evil karma, whatever obscurations of non-virtuous actions there may be, feel remorse and confess with intense regret! With compassion like a mother, please consider, may all the obscurations of misdeeds be purified! Vajra Samaya Shuddhe Ah! Recite this and the Hundred Syllable Mantra. Sixteenth, urging from the depths of the heart and supplicating with lamenting cries: In front of the representation of the venerable Mother, kneel with palms joined, body hairs standing on end, tears flowing from the face, acting as if a child longing for its mother and crying: Alas! Noble Mother! Loving and compassionate one! Queen Mother, where do you reside in the supreme abode? I, without refuge, have encountered a time of need! From beginningless time until now, In this long abyss of the six realms of samsara, Having taken countless births, bodies of flesh and blood, The actions I have done have been meaningless and wasted! Have I not, in at least one birth, Planted the connection to accomplish the path of liberation? Will the Noble Mother abandon me with compassion? Please hold me with compassion, Mother, Queen of the Victorious Ones! I am one with ignorance, evil karma, and heavy obscurations! Do you not see me, helpless one, Mother? As I cry out with longing, Will you not embrace me with loving compassion? I have fallen into the abyss of the six realms of samsara, Will the Noble Mother not pull me up with the rope of compassion? Namo! Wandering endlessly in the realm of ignorance and darkness, Won't the Holy Mother ignite the lamp of compassion? Wandering helplessly in the realm of karma, Won't Machig (Tibetan: མ་ཅིག་, meaning 'Only Mother,' referring to Tara) seize me with the hook of compassion? The seedlings of virtue wither like crops, Won't the Holy Mother send down the rain of compassion? The great fire of the five poisons of hatred blazes fiercely, Won't Machig extinguish it with the water of compassion? Suffering from the delusion of the three poisons, Won't the Holy Mother heal me with the medicine of compassion? If I am not embraced by your compassion at this time, From now on, I will have no refuge. Alas! Alas! Holy Mother, full of compassion, I rely solely on you, there is no other refuge. You alone know my joys and sorrows, Please, Holy Mother, generate the courage of compassion! Wandering endlessly in the realm of samsara, When will the karma be exhausted and the fruit ripen? Surely, I will receive the compassionate care of the Holy Mother, it will not be in vain. If I abandon myself due to the force of karma, To whom shall I turn for your great compassionate protection? Holy Mother, you possess the power of compassion, The past connections and the sincerity of prayers will not be in vain, Please do not be lazy or indifferent, Lead me to liberation in an instant! May all adverse conditions and obstacles in this life, As well as kings, fires, floods, shackles, poisons, and weapons, Various epidemics, diseases, thieves, untimely death, Enemies and demons, and bad dreams and omens, Attachment, fear, and the eight difficulties, etc., Be completely pacified and averted! May life, fortune, wealth, and activities, Increase and expand from above! May all of the three realms, the three existences, and all appearances, Be brought under control! May you perform the fierce activity of utterly destroying, All the armies of demons, enemies, and obstructing forces! I pray with a single-pointed, unfeigned heart, Not just with words, but from the depths of my heart, Wherever I go, stand, sit, or act, May you cherish and protect me with love, like a loving mother! May you always embrace me with compassion, In this life, the next life, and the intermediate state! May impermanence, loving-kindness, compassion, Faith, diligence, renunciation, and sorrow, And the supreme wisdom of the profound meaning and the view of emptiness, Arise constantly in my mind! May I always practice without weariness, And may I complete my life and practice! Thus, pray earnestly with an unwavering mind!
