Visualizing oneself, in the center of the mandala offered in front, within a blazing heap of light, a lion in the east, an elephant in the south, a steed in the west, and a peacock in the north, upon the thrones of the Shangshang (Tibetan: ཤང་ཤང་, a type of bird), atop lotus and sun-moon cushions, light radiates from the seed syllables ཨཱོཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओँ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), ཧཱུཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum), ཏྲཱཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: त्रां, Romanized Sanskrit: trāṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Tram), ཧྲཱི་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih), ཨ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah), offering to the noble ones, benefiting sentient beings, the light retracts, and these seed syllables sequentially transform into a wheel, a vajra, a wish-fulfilling jewel, a lotus, and a sword. From the seed syllables ཨེ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ए, Romanized Sanskrit: e, Literal Chinese meaning: Eh), བཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: वं, Romanized Sanskrit: vaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Vam), ལཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: लं, Romanized Sanskrit: laṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Lam), རཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: रं, Romanized Sanskrit: raṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ram), ཡཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: यं, Romanized Sanskrit: yaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Yam) arise the emblems. Again, light radiates, and the outer world and inner beings transform into deities and goddesses. The light retracts, becoming fully integrated, surrounded by the root guru and lineage gurus, in the form of glorious Vairochana (Tibetan: རྣམ་པར་སྣང་མཛད་), blue in color, holding an eight-spoked wheel, sealed with the supreme mudra of enlightenment, in union with the consort Dhatvishvari (Tibetan: དབྱིངས་ཕྱུག་མ་), also blue. In the east is Akshobhya (Tibetan: མི་བསྐྱོད་པ་), white, holding a vajra to subdue demons, in union with the consort Mamaki (Tibetan: མཱ་མ་ཀི་), also white. In the south is Ratnasambhava (Tibetan: རིན་ཆེན་འབྱུང་ལྡན་), holding a wish-fulfilling jewel to grant liberation, in union with the consort Buddhalochana (Tibetan: སངས་རྒྱས་སྤྱན་མ་), yellow. In the west is Amitabha (Tibetan: སྣང་བ་མཐའ་ཡས་), red, in meditative equipoise, holding a lotus, in union with the consort Pandara (Tibetan: གོས་དཀར་མོ་). In the north is Amoghasiddhi (Tibetan: དོན་ཡོད་གྲུབ་པ་), green, in the gesture of refuge, holding a crossed vajra, in union with the consort Samaya Tara (Tibetan: དམ་ཚིག་སྒྲོལ་མ་), also green. All the consorts hold a curved knife and a skull cup in their hands. They are seated in vajra posture, adorned with various precious ornaments. Then, holding the vajra and bell, accompanied by music, recite: Hūṃ! You are the protector of all sentient beings, The fearless deity who destroys the hordes of demons and their armies. Knowing all things as they are, Bhagavan, the five families of Buddhas, with your consorts and retinue, please descend! Through this invocation, from Akanishta (Tibetan: འོག་མིན་), the Buddhas of the five families and countless Bodhisattvas, and all the lineage gurus, and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, and immeasurable Dakinis come like a dense cloud. With flowers, incense, lamps, perfume, food, music, and so forth, with clouds of outer and inner offerings, I offer to all the Sugatas and their retinues. Oṃ Vajra Pūṣpe, Dhūpe, Āloke, Gandhe, Naivedya, Śapta Āḥ Hūṃ! Oṃ! From the primordially clear Dharmakaya, Appear various Rupakayas, with marks, signs, and radiance. I praise the Guru, Yidam, the five families of Buddhas, and the ocean of Dakinis and Dharma protectors. Oṃ Vajra Aṃ Kuśa Jaḥ! Oṃ Vajra Pāśa Hūṃ! Oṃ Vajra Abeśaya Ho! Visualize oneself as the deity adorned with liberation ornaments. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dissolving into non-dual wisdom. Again, light radiates from the heart, inviting all the Buddhas of the ten directions, including the Five Families. They empower from the crown of the head with vase water, filling the body, purifying defilements. From the remaining water overflowing upwards, at the crown, recite: 'Buddha Abhiṣiñca Oṃ' (Buddha Abhiṣiñca Oṃ). At the forehead, recite: 'Vajra Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ' (Vajra Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ). At the right back of the ear, recite: 'Ratna Abhiṣiñca Tāṃ' (Ratna Abhiṣiñca Tāṃ). At the back of the head, recite: 'Padma Abhiṣiñca Hrīḥ' (Padma Abhiṣiñca Hrīḥ). At the left back of the ear, recite: 'Karma Abhiṣiñca Āḥ' (Karma Abhiṣiñca Āḥ). Thus empower. Visualize a white 'Oṃ' at the forehead, a red 'Āḥ' at the throat, and a blue 'Hūṃ' at the heart. Recite the twenty-one wisdoms seven times, which are the Guru's intention, the Mother's intention, and the non-dual intention of the Guru and Mother. Afterwards, visualize the scriptures dissolving into light, the place being Akanishta, self-visualized as the primordial Buddha Samantabhadra, the Dharma being Ati Yoga, and the retinue visualized as all sentient beings becoming Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. During the self-generation of the deity, scatter flowers blessed with mantras, reciting the root mantras of the Five Families and the essence of dependent origination, a total of one hundred and eight times. Offer the mandala of grains, medicines, and jewels three times, reciting: 'Anoint the ground with incense and scatter flowers, Adorned with Mount Meru, four continents, sun and moon, I offer this, visualizing it as a Buddha-field, May all beings enjoy the pure realm. Oṃ Vajra Ratne Āḥ Hūṃ'. Make offerings with inner and outer offerings such as flowers, and extensively praise the Guru and the Five Families. Holding a handful of flowers, recite in unison: 'May the Bhagavan Five Families of Buddhas and their retinues, as well as the Guru and the Buddhas of the ten directions and their retinues, heed my words. May all sentient beings, led by so-and-so, be matured, be liberated, be fulfilled, be increased, be expanded.' Recite three times. Recite the tantra and post-recitation rituals once, or recite the essence of the tantra seven times. Visualize countless auspicious deities descending, reciting auspicious prayers in unison, scattering flowers, and playing music: 'The unchanging five bodies of the Sugata are spontaneously accomplished, The five wisdoms are complete, and the activities are supremely excellent, The auspiciousness of the primordial protector, the Five Families, May this auspiciousness bring fulfillment today. Akanishta, the great bliss realm of wisdom, The ocean of victorious ones possesses immeasurable assemblies, Spontaneously accomplishing the two benefits of beings, May this sacred auspiciousness bring well-being. Great bliss Vidyadhara, Sugata, father of beings.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
