'To eliminate diseases, evil spirits, sins, and all unfavorable conditions that need to be purified, visualize them transforming into pus, blood, and life-forms, flowing out from the pores and dissolving into the burnt offerings.' Recite: 'Hum! To the retinue headed by the fire god, offer twenty-seven kinds of excellent burnt offerings.' 'To increase lifespan, merit, good name, strength, wealth, and the virtues of learning, contemplation, and realization, as well as the prosperity of political and religious affairs, eliminate all evil spirits, obstacles, and enemies that hinder them, dispel curses, suppressions, separations, evil words, black magic, poverty, diseases, untimely death, and all sins and faults. May they be completely purified, and may the peaceful pacifying activities be accomplished.' After reciting, hold the container of burnt offerings with the left hand, and with the thumb and forefinger of the right hand, pick up the offerings, circle them from below, and with the supreme generosity mudra, throw firewood into the fire, reciting: 'Om Agnaye Vajra Yajñāya (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ अग्नये वज्र यज्ञाय, Sanskrit Romanization: Om Agnaye Vajra Yajñāya, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Fire God, Vajra, Sacrifice). May all diseases, evil spirits, sins, and unfavorable conditions that obscure our samadhi, cause errors in mantra recitation, and hinder the perfection of splendor be eliminated, Śāntiṃ Kuru Svāhā (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: शान्तिं कुरु स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: Śāntiṃ Kuru Svāhā, Literal Chinese Meaning: Pacify, Do, Svaha).' Recite twice or more as appropriate, or recite the offering mantra alone seven, fourteen, or twenty-one times, etc. What is written here is a supplementary word to complete the number of recitations. If performing other activities, modify according to the oral transmission rituals. The two mantras for the fire god offerings are as above. When offering flowers, change 'perfection of splendor' to 'perfection of color.' Except for these special modifications, other recitation methods can be inferred. When offering silk, recite 'perfection of color.' When offering butter, recite: 'Om Agnaye (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ अग्नये, Sanskrit Romanization: Om Agnaye, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Fire God).' Recite the two fire god offering mantras alternately, offering 'perfection of wealth.' When offering sesame seeds, recite: 'Om Sarva Papam Dahana Vajrāya (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ सर्व पापं दहन वज्राय, Sanskrit Romanization: Om Sarva Papam Dahana Vajrāya, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, All, Sins, Burning, Vajra),' offering 'perfection of virtue.' The two mantras are as above. When offering alcohol, recite 'perfection of experience and realization.' When offering incense, recite 'perfection of vows and precepts.' When offering kusha grass, recite: 'Om Vajra Ayuṣe (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ वज्र आयुषे, Sanskrit Romanization: Om Vajra Ayuṣe, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Vajra, Lifespan),' offering 'perfection of lifespan.' When offering rice, recite: 'Om Vajra Puṣaye (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ वज्र पुषये, Sanskrit Romanization: Om Vajra Puṣaye, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Vajra, Increase),' offering 'perfection of merit.'
