To signify the perfection of generosity, the bone wheel on the crown of the head has eight holes, and the edge is surrounded by a garland of bones. Eight spokes like those of a wheel are made, and on the five front spokes. Five human skulls, five fingers high, are drawn, and above and below them, bone garlands are continuously connected, with three connections in between. In front of the skull, a three-finger-wide net-like half-net is made, and the tips of the ears are pressed on the left and right. On the back, a multi-colored vajra is made, and on the left, a crescent moon is made. It is said that the top of the human skull is adorned with a magnificent jewel crest, and the top is adorned with a vajra and jewels. To signify the perfection of patience, the earrings are: the bone wheel has three recesses, and it is adorned with five halves. To signify the perfection of diligence, the necklace is: eight garlands are cross-tied between the three bone trunks, so the bone trident that hangs down like a necklace is adorned with eight, that is, sixteen. To signify the perfection of generosity, the three parts of the legs and arms each have two small rings, a total of six, that is, the three bone trunks are connected with five garlands in between, and the bottom is adorned with a trident and bells. To signify the perfection of discipline, the belt is: eight or sixteen garlands are tied in sequence between the five trunks back and forth, and it is adorned with a net-like half-net, bells, and a bone trident. To signify the perfection of meditation, the bone Brahman cord is: holes are drilled in the eight bone wheels, cross-tied, made to come to the front and back, and cross-bound. The latter is called the five bone handprints when used as a hair cord for killing thieves. Regarding the purification of these, Jetsun Rinpoche Drakpa said: The five dry skulls are the five families, each of which is five fingers in size, representing the five wisdoms. The five strings of rosaries connected in the middle are purified into the nature of the five wisdoms, and the net-like half-net symbolizes the vast deeds of the Buddha. The wheel on the head is the sphere of reality, the net-like half-net is wisdom, the multi-colored vajra is the activity of the incarnate body that tames beings, the waxing moon is the increase of qualities, and the three trunks of the neck and the sixteen rosaries are the sixteen emptinesses.
