It is also acceptable to use good grain seeds. In addition, smear cinnabar on the mirror of Kharbe, and draw intersecting dharma sources with the dust of a young woman, with vam (藏文,വം,vam, seed syllable vam) in the center. Starting from the front, clockwise around the dharma source, write the syllables jñānavārāhī hūm (藏文,ज्ञानवाराही हूँ,jñānavārāhī hūm,wisdom Vajravarahi Hum) in each grid, place a crystal stone on top, and cover it with a red canopy. If it is related to self-entry, replace the crystal stone with a bell. Place a torma in front, on top of the intersecting dharma sources, a treasure torma in the shape of a crescent moon decorated with lotuses, but it is also acceptable without decorations. The torma can be decorated with intoxicating items such as rice, meat, fish, eggs, onions, milk, wine, etc. As it is said in the Vinaya: "Without intoxicating substances in the torma, swift accomplishment will not occur." Place standard male and female skull cups on the left and right, or artificial kapala bowls. On the right, place wine and dharma medicine, and on the left, place thirty-five kinds of blood, or if not available, red paint or animal blood. Behind, place the tormas of Magön, the planets, and the five Tsering sisters. The outer offerings start from the right, and the inner offerings start from the left, arranged in a circular offering or a series. In addition, prepare the feast items and the commitment substances. Immediately prepare the necessary advance tormas. Also, prepare the hand drum, bell, scattering items, etc. During the recitation, spread kusha grass and a cross under the seat. The outer and inner boundaries should be cut off as usual. The mandala faces east, and oneself faces west, towards the pure land of Oddiyana. Secondly, the preliminary practices of the ritual are divided into common and special. First, the common preliminaries: contemplate that one has obtained this leisure and endowment body, which is difficult to obtain due to causes and conditions; the nature of this body to quickly decay; the endless experience of karma and its black and white results; the nature of the suffering of beginningless and endless samsara; the benefits of turning away from samsara and entering the path of liberation; and that in order to truly know the path of liberation, one needs to rely on a virtuous spiritual friend and virtuous companions, etc. After entering the door of the Buddha's teachings, upholding all vows is taking refuge. After entering the door of the Great Vehicle, abandoning selfishness and vowing to liberate all sentient beings from samsara is generating bodhicitta. For this purpose, striving to attain the state of omniscience is non-contradiction.
