Now also, not depending on karma, great glorious one, snatching from life, sharp and swift. The river of power has not diminished, possessing seven generations of lineage, accomplishment is near." Thus it is said. This treasure is the continuum of the base, path, and fruit, the intention of the Victorious Ones and the signs of the Vidyadharas, from which empowerment and blessings arise. From the secret letters of the Dakinis, the words and meanings do not contradict, and in accomplishing siddhis, it does not deceive. Padma, I am a unique characteristic, may it become the glory of the self-born Vajra!" Thus it is said. Please pay attention to these, those who hold the doctrine of the Clear Light Heart Essence, do not merely boast of being Heart Essence practitioners only during the tenth-day festival of each month, but it is crucial to listen, contemplate, and meditate on the lifeblood essence of the tantras, transmissions, and instructions. I pray in this way. Secondly, the method of how to practice. The means of practice are like a tool for measuring value, the path related to the sequence of the four empowerments, purifying the imprints of egg-born beings, the extensive generation stage of the great glorious one's practice manual, extensive and intermediate. Purifying womb-born beings, the Vidyadhara Father Tantra, and purifying miraculously born beings, the Mother Tantra, and also the most secret Guru practice, etc. The completion stage of all these, the oral transmission of oneself and others, the skillful means of hidden meaning. The tantras, transmissions, and instructions of the Great Perfection, along with the guidance manual, Yeshe Lama, root and branch texts are numerous, but here the method of practice to be explained is like being skilled in the methods of trade. The essential points of meditation in the root practice manual of the Great Glorious Assembly, the path of generation and recitation, is explained in three parts. The preliminary accumulation and purification, the sequence of abandoning obstacles and accomplishing favorable conditions, the main part, the yoga of the generation stage with its limbs complete, the subsequent supplementary rituals of activity. The first part is divided into two types of preliminaries, common and specific. The first is as stated in the Vidyadhara Sadhana Manual: "Through the common preliminaries, purify the continuum well, diligently take the four empowerments of Guru Yoga, thus purifying transgressions and accomplishing the practice." As it is said, we as Buddhists, whether we practice Sutra or Tantra Dharma, must take renunciation as the basis, therefore, to generate that, we need to practice the four thoughts that turn the mind and refuge. In order to make ourselves suitable vessels for the root of the Great Vehicle Dharma, altruistic Bodhicitta, and in order to make ourselves vessels for the Secret Mantra, we need to practice.

For the sake of those who need to purify their continuum, have great merit, and generate extraordinary devotion, one must clearly establish the objects of the four thoughts that turn the mind, perform refuge, generate bodhicitta, practice and recite Vajrasattva, offer outer and inner mandalas, and practice guru yoga as preliminary practices. According to the extensive and concise instructions of the "Naro Chöying," one should meditate in a way that harmonizes body and mind, making it essential, and practice the five accumulations as instructed, ensuring the completion of the required number. If one has already accumulated and practiced before, one should repeat the practices for at least seven weeks in a clear manner and offer prayers. In particular, by exerting effort in guru yoga, one can restore the ability to obtain the four empowerments of the previous continuum and take the path empowerment as a leap. This also includes the meaning of entering oneself into the mandala. Since it is the blessing of the great wisdom of the guru's three vajras and the opening of the door to accomplishments, it is very important, and this is a special practice of this lineage. Just as it is said that practicing the peaceful deity before practicing the wrathful deity can make the continuum gentle, auspicious, and free from obstacles, one should perform the practice of the peaceful deity through the blessing of guru yoga, just like offering external prayers. Since it is closely related to the secret wrathful practice of the Great Glorious One, it must be put into practice. In particular, one should receive the ripening instructions of the Eight Commands of the Kagyu and the general Kagyu Treasures, and especially this practice, from a qualified guru with lineage. If one has achieved accomplishment at the beginning of engaging in recitation and practice, one should request re-empowerment from the guru. Even if one has not achieved accomplishment, one should repeatedly perform the self-entry ritual and maintain the vows according to the instructions, which is very important. Second, regarding the special preliminary practices. First, the place where to practice: First, a secluded and pleasant place, where accomplished beings have trodden, especially a charnel ground or a rugged grove. It is said that the initial place for recitation and practice should, as mentioned above, possess auspicious qualities. Second, if one has obtained it, then in a charnel ground, etc., and for daily practice and recitation, a pleasant and harmless place is also suitable. Second, the materials: A mandala with complete ten spokes and doors, on top of a painted mandala with complete characteristics, practice items such as skull cups, deity images, mantra boards, and sandalwood and juniper, etc., according to the detailed practice instructions, or a brief
