His seat holder, Khenpo Chokyi Rinchen, was prophesied by Acharya Padmasambhava to be an incarnation of Jowo Atisha, named Chungpa Chokkar, named Chokyi Rinchen, and said to appear seven generations after Jowo Je (Atisha). He was prophesied to subdue a demon who is a son of the gods. His teachers who taught and contemplated were very kind, including Sangsangpa's father Sang Jing Yoltang, Ton Sod, Jiwo Lhapa, Jangchub Wo, Geshe Sangkawa of Donmo Ri, Trolo Jampa Pel, Sakya Pandita, Zhang Gyalwa Pel, Narthangpa Sangye Gompa, Jamyang Sarma, and countless others, and he listened, studied, and practiced.

Such as Rinchen Gangpa and Kunkhyen Chokyi Ozer of the Golden Lotus Throne, and the teacher Kunkhyen Sangsangwa, who was greatly favored by Khenchen Rinchen Pelwa, Chaklo Chöje Pal, the scholar Butön, Gyalwa Götsangpa, Dromgön Phakpa, etc., are said to be very numerous, but Butön seems to be somewhat different from them. There was Butön Sengge Ö, but he had already attained accomplishment before that. During the time of this Khenpo, Nyenyingpa was established as one thousand circuits. Khenpo Rinchen Pelwa built the iron fence of Nyenying, which surrounds hundreds of stupas. He placed all the Sangha in the tradition of hearing, thinking, and meditating. He strictly enforced the monastic rules. He said that he himself would come during the most difficult time of Nyenyingpa's development. It is said that this was the time known as Chöton. Khenchen the Great Master Jampa Pelwa established a Prajnaparamita college at Nyenying, conducted classic teachings, and gathered a hundred people for joint practice. Khenchen Rinchen Sangpo built the great assembly hall at Kyek Nyenying and stayed in Ütsang Lhador for twelve years of practice. It is said that this was the time known as the Golden Dharma period. The great throne holder of the Kagyu lineage, Rinchen Jungne Pelsangpo, built Tashi Ding, Langsa, Lhakhuk, Chakjong, Druwa Chukyer, and Rubmo Tsal, etc. He canceled the drinking parties in Orka and other places and established a prohibition law. He listened to the Vinaya in Zulphu and established a Vinaya teaching center in Nyenying. The lineage of teachings is related to Zulphu. Later, according to the Kagyu tradition, a thorough teaching college was established. However, he said that this old temple was the root of the teachings, so he restored Spenpa and Gopa. He made huge Thangka statues and murals, etc. For the auspiciousness of the Sangha's development, he also made the Kani of Duwa Zhuk. Khenchen Rinchen Pelsangpo was regarded as the root teacher of Shakawa's Sha-ngo Tai Situ Phakpa Kunchok. He completed the great iron fence of Nyenying in three years. The seasonal offering is known as Ribé Offering. Among them, he built an Amitayus statue made of gold and copper, with a throne and backrest. Khenchen, the holder of the Kagyu lineage, Rinchen Samten Pelsangpo, is very clearly the reincarnation of Gyalwa Rinchen Gangpa.
