If you throw a stone, throw a stone; if the nāga puts in a curse, cut off the curse; if the king spreads madness, transfer it to the enemy; if a thief steals his own property, transfer it to the enemy; may all the plagues of the mamos be transferred to the enemy; eighty thousand kinds of obstacles, three hundred and sixty kinds of demons, four hundred and four kinds of diseases, eighteen kinds of untimely death, may the obstacles of the year and month be transferred to the enemy, may the obstacles of the day and meal be transferred to the enemy, all bad dreams, all demon armies, may all the plagues of the bhūtas be transferred to the enemy, may all curses and witchcraft be transferred to the enemy. Saying this, the ransom is sent to the four directions. <That is, the white corpse demon with a bird's head, together with the debts and various grains, is sent to the east; the yellow kleśa demon with a horse's head, together with the butter lamp, is sent to the south; the red deva demon with a dog's head, together with a hundred red offerings, is sent to the west; the black death demon with a snake's head, together with a hundred silk cloths, is sent to the north. When the ransom and the human year are placed on top of the demon, the red offering of the subsequent offering is blessed. After reciting the treasure mantra seven times, recite "bhyaḥ(བྷྱོཿ,梵文天城体:भ्यो,梵文罗马拟音:bhyaḥ,exclamation) red offering torma..." until "bhyaḥ(བྷྱོཿ,梵文天城体:भ्यो,梵文罗马拟音:bhyaḥ,exclamation)."> Secondly, the concluding ritual: Offerings and praises are made to the self-generated deity in any form, which can be elaborate or simple. Recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra, confess, and firmly place earth, salt, etc. on the mandala. Recite "sarva bhuta gaccha(萨瓦 布达 嘎恰,梵文天城体:सर्व भूत गच्छ,梵文罗马拟音:sarva bhūta gaccha, all ghosts and gods go)...". The four demons and their retinues go to the place of the four births. Dedication, aspiration, and auspicious prayers are performed. If dispelling obstacles is very important, then do this in the above-mentioned subsequent offering: First, prepare: Smear the blood of a yak or, if a yak cannot be found, a black cow on the triangular torma. Insert arrow feathers. Place it on green grass. After performing the self-entry yoga, bless it with the six-syllable mantra and the six mudras as before. Bless with incense, purifications, and the three fruits. After making offerings with the Akashagarbha mantra, etc., recite "bhyaḥ(བྷྱོཿ,梵文天城体:भ्यो,梵文罗马拟音:bhyaḥ,exclamation)! This majestic red offering torma, dispel the eighty-four bad omens. Looking upwards, one sees the bad omen of the sun and moon falling. This is the drought of the great god's wrath, may it be dispelled by this red offering torma! Looking into the middle sky, one sees vultures fighting with their claws. This is the drought of Yama, may it be dispelled by this red offering torma!"

If there are four red offerings, throw the ransom in four directions. Then recite the Repelling Sutra four times in four directions. May all enemies, obstructors, and harm-doers arise from the profound emptiness! Thus it is said. Perform the stable abiding for Tsatsas and Buddha statues, etc. Dismiss the four maras of the four directions of the seat of Sarva Bhuta, etc. Dedicate merit and make aspirations. By doing auspiciousness, it is well accomplished. These annotations above and below are not self-made. They are according to the practice and oral tradition of Lama Dampa Sangtha, etc., of Se Monastery in Ngawa. May virtue and goodness increase! The origin of the glorious Great Black Coat Protector Brother and Sister. Om Swasti! Homage to the glorious Vajra Great Black Coat! The origin of the Great Black Coat Brother and Sister is as follows: Generally, there are three types of protectors. They are the Wisdom Protector, the Dharma Protector, and the Worldly Protector. The first is: The Dharmakaya, which is unborn, appears as the miraculous manifestation of birth, that is, all that appears as the Three Buddhas or the Five Buddhas are the Wisdom Protectors. The Dharma Protectors are the Bodhisattvas who abide on the ground, and those who have vowed to protect the teachings, who protect and help those who act according to the Dharma, such as the glorious Black Coat Protector and the glorious Lhamo, etc., and the glorious seventy-two or eighty protectors. The Worldly Protectors are: Those who belong to their retinue, the gods, nagas, yakshas, etc. who like the white Dharma, even the powerful pretas who roam in the sky, all who like the Dharma also protect and help those who practice the Dharma, so they are called Worldly Protectors. Therefore, this is all the Bodhisattvas who have vowed to protect the teachings of the thousand and two Buddhas of the past, present, and future, so they are Dharma Protectors. How did it come about? In the past, in the teachings of the Buddha Crowned with a Topknot,
