Saying, "Please come to this cool pavilion," when the Panditas went to the feast, at the banquet, that king said, "O great scholars, the Tibetan king has sent me a very good gift. In return for this gift, I would like to send a great scholar who is proficient in the Fruition Tantra." So he ordered. The teacher Chandra Gomi said, "Where is the gift-sender who said that? Bring him here." When the king brought him, the two translators saw the marks and signs of Vimala's body and generated great faith. The upper translator also saw Vimala at the same time, and the lower translator also knew from the sandy ground, so he stood up and uttered the sound "Gha Gha Pa Ri." The two translators had two ways of understanding this sentence: Chokro understood it as: "Relying on bows and arrows, if a man can strive with his thumb, the arrow will reach the other shore." Kawa understood it as: "Relying on boats, if a person can strive with pleasing oars, the person will cross the ocean to the other shore." Although the words are different, the meaning is the same. So he asked Vimala, and Vimala said, "Relying on the sandy ground, if you, the king, can be generous, I will benefit Tibet." So, taking with him a set of extremely profound Secret Essence teachings, and taking Acharya Sa'i Nyingpo as a servant, all the dreams that night were chaotic. He dreamed that all the flowers, fruits, trees, and crops of the entire country of India went to Tibet, and he dreamed that the sun and moon went to the direction of Tibet. At that time, the dakinis of the Cool Grove charnel ground were all wailing, and all the king's clocks and staff calculations were messed up. The next morning, all the Indians gathered in front of the gate of the king's palace, and they all agreed that the dreams were the same. What is the reason for this? Some said this, some said that. One woman said, "Please bring the king before us. Has the king's place of offering been taken away by Tibet? The omen is that a Pandita has composed the Fruition Tantra, which is unprecedented. When asked the king, the king said that Sandy Ground went to Tibet yesterday." The people of India

Having dispatched swift horses, notices were posted in all the valleys and streets of Tibet, stating that two Tibetan monks had gone with evil mantras from the border regions, and that the kingdoms of Tibet would be destroyed, and so on. Many such notices were posted. At that time, Vimalamitra was invited and came to glorious Samye. The two translators, with respect, said to the king: "This paṇḍita has attained accomplishment and is an emanation reborn for the benefit of sentient beings. He generally knows all the collections of scriptures, and especially contemplates the secret mantra of the fruition. O King, he did not leave even a single text in India, but brought them to Tibet." The king said: "Tonight, stay in the golden palace of Butsal, and tomorrow we will hold a celebration and welcome in Grogang." So they stayed in Butsal. At that time, the wicked ministers of Tibet read the notices and heard that a paṇḍita had come to Samye. The ministers sat before the king and said: "We have here various evil mantras from the border regions. Please, O King, issue a decree not to leave them here." The next day, the two translators went before the king and said they wished to meet him. The king said: "The one you two have brought is not a genuine paṇḍita. He seems to be carrying various evil methods, so I will observe him for a few days." He did not allow them to meet. After that, the two translators were very distressed. One night, after sleeping in Butsal for three days, Vimalamitra arose and said: "Vairocana, the deity of form! To the deity of form, the wisdom deity pays homage!" As he paid homage, the murals there turned to ashes. The two translators were amazed and told the king. The king said: "Oh, that is all an evil trick." The two translators were very unhappy, thinking, "We two have endured hardships from as far as India to invite such a wonderful scholar. What is wrong with this king?" and they were disheartened. Then, after another three days, he arose and said: "Vairocana, the deity of form! To the deity of form, the wisdom deity bestows empowerment!" He took off the hat from the mound of earth and put it on, and the image was much better than before, appearing in the Indian style.

Having become endowed with pure wisdom, he again addressed the two translators as kings. Then the king was very pleased and said, "Then send swift messengers to Tibet and have them gather on the third day of a certain month." Then, within a month, in front of the door of the three lineages of Utsé, a turquoise throne of great height was built for the king on the right, and a golden throne of great height was built on the left. All of Tibet gathered, and the king paid homage to the Pandit. Everyone saw that in the heart of the king, in the center of the silk, the deities of the three lineages of protectors were clearly visible, and they remained like that. At that time, Vimala shook the precious crown on his head, making the sounds of Om (ༀ,Oṃ,唵,body), Ah (ཨཱཿ,Āḥ,啊,speech), and Hum (ཧཱུྃ,Hūṃ,吽,mind), and everyone clearly saw the Buddhas of the five lineages, and the people of the Tibetan kingdom praised him greatly. At this time, Vimala was three hundred years old. Although the lord and ministers did not have such abilities, they were thinking of those to be tamed. Thus, when Vimala and the incarnate lord and ministers met, one thousand and eighty years had passed since the Buddha's Nirvana. At that time, Vimala was regarded as a sacred place of offering, and he continued to teach the Prajnaparamita and Madhyamaka doctrines until Vimala went to Grola. By the throne where the Compendium was being taught, a beggar came, and without being noticed by others, he wrote a line: 'The Dharma of the Shravaka Hinayana will not attain Buddhahood; the uneven ground of the crow's vajra gait is not level.' He wrote these two sentences. Then, Vimala came to the throne and opened the curtain, seeing the line. Vimala said, 'Who came here?' The monks listening to the Dharma all said, 'No one came.' A young boy said, 'Just now, there was an old beggar wandering around.' Vimala said, 'Find that beggar.' So the attendants searched and found him in the house of a wine-selling woman in the middle of the village, and they brought him over. Vimala asked, 'I am a disciple of Pagor Vairocana, named Yu Dra Nyingpo.' He was one who was skilled in the five lower minds. At that time, Vimala showed him the thirteen sections of mindfulness and mind, and Yu's sound and view were the same, meditation was the same, behavior was the same, like a bird and its chick.
