It is placed in an iron box and hidden. In the degenerate age, the secret tantric texts, Having been adulterated like milk in the marketplace, When this fills the entire Tibetan kingdom, Translate this into the language familiar to China, And with this, fill in the excesses and deficiencies. There is nothing more supreme than this. Therefore, having made it the lamp of the teachings, Many fortunate ones will arise to practice this. This essence of the teachings, repeatedly condensed, Nail it to your own heart, do not show it to others. For the sake of worldly pleasing wealth, If I give up this forehead eye and heart, Heart blood will drip and eyeballs will fall to the ground. Therefore, seal it on your own heart, Through familiarizing wisdom, nail this to the crucial point. Black Protector, Dharma Protector, guardian deity, I entrust this command to you, you must protect it. When a fortunate possessor of the oral instructions appears, Let go of your attachment and give this to him. If oathless evil monks take this, Cut off their life, cut off their wandering life force. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Meaning) Even though the illusion appearing in my own mind is pure, But being attached to this oral instruction, thinking that you will go to China, On the way, there will be Dharma-vessel-less, cruel Monpas, And poisonous fierce beasts and great rivers, And terrifying rock caves, with no clear path. In the midst of rocks and water clashes, terrifying forests, fearing that this will be lost in these places, Therefore, I seal it myself, placing it as the seed of the teachings. Thus, even though there are countless dangers on the road, I will go alone by means of miraculous powers. I pray to meet a fortunate heart-son. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Meaning) Place it in the heart of those with faith. There is no better way to place it than this. I have little learning and am not a logician, But I know the meaning of all vehicles. Therefore, heart-son, this method, Seal it again in the red treasury, Remember it in your heart, and accompany it with a joyful mind, Hold it tightly with miserliness, like guarding precious jewels. By doing so, you will immediately attain accomplishment. Translated by the great Pandit Vimalamitra is complete. ཨཐྎ༔ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Meaning) རྒྱ་རྒྱ་རྒྱ༔ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Meaning) The precious mother text is cut off.

Instructions on the Essential Points of Mind. Homage to the Bliss of Self-Perfected Enlightenment. If there is a mind like a maddened elephant, With the hook of non-conceptual bliss, Who would want to hold onto it? The Great Non-Conceptuality arrives in its natural state. Abiding is arranged as an ornament of the mind itself, Placing is putting it in the enclosure of the mind, Radiating is appearing as the play of the mind. If there is a mind like a fox in a charnel ground, With the hammer of great awakening, Who would want to hold onto it? Without cause and without effect, it arrives in its natural state. The source is blocked, searching for the place of the mind, Pressing the essential point, killing the horse of the mind, Constantly cutting, showing how the supreme corpse of the mind abides. If there is a mind like muddy water, With the hammer of self-purifying delusion, Who would want to destroy this? The wheel of delusion is self-liberated, arriving in its natural state. Exhausting dependence, the number of minds is exhausted, Examining coming and going, the face of the mind is determined, Reversing that, the mind is lost on the path. If there is a mind like the sky, With the broom of the same essence, Who would want to gather it? The Dharmakaya is one, arriving in its natural state. The door is closed, the arising sensations of the mind are empty, The realm is rich, the support of the mind is empty, Expanding, the mind itself is gathered in the center. If there is a person who delights in the mind, a proliferator, Practicing this, one enters the meaning of the essence. Therefore, one should strive in this, Striving and becoming accustomed, awareness will be seen. Thus, from the Great Arrangement, Six Hundred Thousand, the section called "Bringing the Mind Itself into Its Natural State" is complete. In the language of India: Tantra Bhila Kra. In the language of Tibet: The Mirror of Clear Sutras and Agamas, the Manifestation of Emptiness. Homage. With the view of great play, Obtain the wisdom that appears as one. With the yoga of knowing sound and meaning, Play freely with the elements. With the yoga of adjusting delusion, All entities abide in their natural state. With the yoga of seeing view and meditation, Enjoy wisdom itself as you please. With the yoga of liberating that continuum, Liberate the knots of afflictive bondage. With the yoga of knowing space and awareness, Constantly abide with the Buddhas. With the yoga of knowing how to place, Awareness itself is taken prisoner. With the yoga of knowing the meaning of use, The fragments of phenomena scatter at the peak.
