These are the tantras that protect the teachings, as well as the sadhanas of yaksha men and women, worldly demons and tsen, the lord of life, the fierce demon, and the extremely profound Red Yama, and the sadhana methods of Gonpo and Chamdral. Then, go to a very secluded place, infuse awareness into the eyes, and look with any of the above three ways of looking. In the sky, the very nature of awareness, called the Vajra Chain, is subtle like knots tied on a horse's tail, with mustard-seed-sized bindus in between, the color clear. To practice this for a long time, the best is to reach the standard in sixty days, the intermediate in one year, and the worst in three years. When looking, single mustard-seed-sized bindus will clearly appear in the sky, as well as double and triple connections, and so on. That is the Dharmakaya that is inherently present within oneself and the single bindu, called the pith instruction of the union of the three kayas, which is inherently inseparable. This is called directly meeting the Buddha face to face. Awareness, that is, the eye of looking and the looking of looking, what does it refer to? Because it has not been shown elsewhere, here it is looked at with the eyes, therefore it is looking. The key to the connection is that the direction in which the eye moves is the direction in which it moves, and it is difficult to grasp. Those subtle bindus, up and down, left and right, also move back and forth. The pith instruction for forcibly grasping it at the space between one's eyebrows is to cherish turning the eyes and mind slightly upward. When the eyebrows meet the sky and the clear light of the eyes, at the junction, it is called the lamp of pure space, swirling like a blue vortex, a vast expanse of light, like the vowel sign of the letter Na (Tibetan: ན་རོ་), or like a rainbow in the sky, or like an eye floater, the light of the eyes and the light of the flesh meet, and it appears clearer and clearer. To look by placing awareness within it is like the container being a palace and awareness being the deity that is relied upon, stopping the movement is called the iron hook that grasps it, it is extremely precious. It is finished! Extremely secret! Having taught in this way, the way for a person of good lineage to practice is: in order to become accustomed, always wander in uninhabited, secluded mountains. At night in one's own dwelling, look and observe as during the day. For beginners, it is not clear at night and in the house, but during the day in the mountains like a wild animal. The practitioner who acts in this way without fear is not another Buddha, but Samantabhadra and Vajrasattva. Looking at this awareness, it is like seeing an old woman pointing the way with her finger, this is an excellent pith instruction.
