, as well as great compassion, exhaustion, subjugation, liberation, etc., as explained in the Sutras, and the extraordinary qualities of union explained in the Mantras, as it is said: Constant and without suffering, cool and one, bliss and without stain, joy and clear mind. Thus, eight tastes, as well as the power of the body and the power of speech, likewise the power of the mind, as well as the power of miraculous travel and abode, doing as one wishes and eight qualities. Thus, eight powers, as well as perfect enjoyment and union, great bliss without inherent existence, filled with compassion, continuous and without cessation, and without cessation. Thus, seven unions, as well as subtle form, light touch, and pervasive true attainment, extremely bright true manifestation, true power and transformation at will. Thus, eight qualities, etc., and others, those profound with selflessness, etc., and those vast with merit and wisdom, etc., and those pervasive in all places, etc., and those constant with continuity, etc., and those of the nature of bliss with great union, etc., Dharma and perfect enjoyment, as well as emanation, and the distinctions of the body such as great bliss. Having generally determined the nature of the three continuums to be expressed by these, distinguishing them specifically from the perspective of the expressive canon, due to necessity, they are divided into two tantra sets, as well as four, five, and seven, etc., which are many, and the first is the two, Action and Yoga. These also have two each, namely Action and Performance, Yoga and Highest Yoga. Thus, in the Vajra Heart Ornament Tantra it is said: The Tantra realized by the Sugata, is truly taught as four kinds, namely Action, Performance, Yoga, and Supreme. As it is said. Although there are many different ways of classifying, the commonly accepted division into four Tantra sets, their necessity is also, in relation to those of the lowest, middle, highest, and most supreme faculties, the method of gradually leading to the result by that path is taught, as it is said in the Gur Tantra: For the inferior ones, it is the Action Tantra, non-action Yoga, that is more excellent, sentient beings are excellent.

La is the Yoga Tantra, and the Anuttarayoga is after that. As it is said: In the first perfect age, the Kriya Tantra; in the age with three qualities, the second, the Caryā Tantra; in the age with two qualities, the third, the Yoga Tantra; in the age of strife, the fourth, the Anuttara Tantra. Considering the four times, the four tantras are taught. Thus it appears. Moreover, it is said that the four tantras are taught in order to subdue the disciples of the four types of attachment, which is also included in that, so I will not elaborate separately. Although there are many other reasons for distinguishing them, let it suffice with elaboration. For the time being, the first three of those four tantras with definite numbers are the vehicle of asceticism and mantra, or mainly teach the external actions of body and speech, and the equal emphasis on external actions and inner mind, and mainly teach the inner mind without abandoning external actions, teaching in sequence, thus establishing the three outer tantras, namely the Kriya, Caryā, and Yoga. Regarding these, the commentary on the condensed meaning of the Hevajra says: If the ability to meditate on Suchness is weak, for those who are particularly fond of actions with signs, mainly teaching those external actions, this is the Kriya Tantra. Also, those who believe in the distinctions of actions and also practice the vast actions of skillful means and wisdom, and are fond of not abandoning the principle of inner self-nature, for those, it is the two tantras that are in harmony from the two parts of Kriya and Yoga. And so on. And in the commentary on the Abhisambodhi of Vairocana, it says: Although the collection of the Noble One and others mainly consists of inner practices, the external actions are not non-existent. Because it is said so. Therefore, "Krīyā (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)" means action, because it mainly teaches the actions of body and speech. From the point of view of view, the ultimate truth is pure, free from the four extremes of elaboration, and from the merit of realizing the Suchness of oneself, the conventional truth is completely pure, looking at the nature of the deities, it becomes a method of hoping for other achievements and striving. As it is said in the Secret Path Gradual Stages of the Buddha: Not understanding the two as inseparable and equal, the ultimate purity is only the nature of reality, wisdom and qualities are conventional deities, alternately meditating on the ground of action.
