Just as thorough cleansing is done with thin, fine cloth, after thorough cleansing, that which is free from impurities is called the great Vaidurya. Similarly, for sentient beings, first, with words of aversion such as impermanence and suffering, one leads them into the path of taming, and then with the three doors of liberation, one causes them to realize the nature of the Tathagata, and after that, with the words of the irreversible wheel, one causes them to enter the realm of the Tathagata. Once entered and realized the Dharma nature, that is the source of unsurpassed merit. And so on, it is extensively taught in the sutras. Similarly, the distinction between the three stages of teachings as provisional and definitive is also from the Samdhinirmocana Sutra: The first turning of the wheel of Dharma by the Bhagavan, which teaches the four noble truths to those who have entered the Hearer Vehicle, is also supreme, expedient, provisional, and the basis for disputes. The second turning of the wheel of Dharma by the Bhagavan, which, starting from the non-existence of inherent existence of all phenomena, teaches emptiness to those who have truly entered the Great Vehicle, is also supreme, expedient, provisional, and the basis for disputes. The third turning of the wheel of Dharma by the Bhagavan, which, starting from the very non-existence of inherent existence of all phenomena, turns the wheel of Dharma that is well-differentiated and possesses exceedingly wondrous marvels for those who have truly entered all vehicles, that turning of the wheel of Dharma is unsurpassed, inexpedient, definitive, and not the basis for disputes. And so on, through these means, the provisional and the definitive are established. Thus, the reason for establishing the intermediate wheel as provisional is that in this Dharma wheel, due to necessity, the Sugata's powers and other ultimate qualities that are not self-empty are mostly taught as self-empty, and these are not well distinguished, and it is not shown that there are no internal contradictions, etc., so it is said to be supreme, etc. In the third, the conventional phenomena are self-empty, and the ultimate phenomena are empty of others, therefore, it is also established in that way because of the reason for well distinguishing and showing the manner of these phenomena. If...

Regarding the intermediate turning of the wheel, it is definitive meaning in order to explain the Prajñāpāramitā. Conversely, to say that the final turning is interpretable meaning is not well investigated. Suchness as unborn, unceasing, and primordially peaceful, etc., the Prajñāpāramitā, as its literal meaning shows, is most extensively propagated in the final turning of the wheel, and the extremely profound meaning is explained in the Vajrayāna. By the reason of explaining it as unclear, clear, and very clear, the difference between having and not having a superior and having and not having occasions is explained, but there is no difference in the nature of the Prajñāpāramitā. Whatever is the Sugatagarbha, the Dharmadhātu, the mind of clear light, the lineage of self-nature purity, the ultimate reality, the emptiness of the nature of non-things, etc., all the infinite names that are indicated are the self-arisen non-dual wisdom, which is the same. And that is the Prajñāpāramitā. The teacher Dignāga said: Wisdom gone to the other shore, non-dual. That wisdom is the Tathāgata. Because it possesses the meaning of what is to be attained, on the path of the scriptures it is its sound. Therefore, the final words of the Buddha are established as the ultimate definitive meaning by all scriptural and logical proofs, and it is the Buddha himself who distinguished between the interpretable and the definitive. Furthermore, as it is said in the scriptures: The monk named Asaṅga is skilled in the meaning of this treatise, and he can well distinguish the many aspects of the interpretable and definitive meanings of the sūtras. Thus, the noble one who was prophesied by the king to be able to distinguish between the interpretable and the definitive is the one who established the final turning as the ultimate definitive meaning. Although there is no scripture that says the intermediate turning is definitive and the final turning is interpretable, those who want to be Yogācārins may do so, but this contradicts the order shown by the examples of polishing jewels, medicine for the sick, and learning letters, etc., which were quoted earlier, and there is no need for the classification made by the Buddha himself and the noble ones, etc., there are infinite faults. Moreover, for the disciples to be trained, first explaining the interpretable meaning, then explaining the definitive meaning in the middle, and then repeating the interpretable meaning again, it is necessary to consider what the intention and necessity of such an arrangement are. Therefore, for the ultimate definitive meaning, the class that speaks of real entities
