之后,在赞普热巴坚(bTsan po ral pa can)在位期间,在昂坚多古(’On can rdo dgu)王宫,首先由尼奥(Nyi ’og)的堪布嘉威谢年(mkhan po rGyal ba’i bshes gnyen)、拉旺绛曲(Lha dbang byang chub)、楚臣旺波绛曲(Tshul khrims dbang po byang chub)、晋巴楚臣(sByin pa tshul khrims)和绛曲谢年(Byang chub bshes gnyen)等人,以及藏族译师热纳ra吉达(Ratna rakṣita)、曲尼楚臣(Chos nyid tshul khrims)和益西德(Ye shes sde)等,用新术语确定了先前翻译的经典,并将早期父辈时代在藏地未知的佛教术语,因与语音规则不符而难以理解的术语分开书写。

Bang and the glorious Mount Meru, etc., compiled the scriptures of the Aphangtang Kame (’Phang thang ka med) Monastery into a catalog, hence the Aphangtang Catalog (dKar chag ’phang thang ma) was the beginning of compiling all the Buddha's teachings in Tibet. Later, translators Pal Tseg (Lo tsā ba dpal brtsegs) and Luwang Sung (Klu dbang srung), etc., proofread the scriptures located in the Tongtang Denkar (sTong thang ldan dkar) Palace and compiled the famous Denkar Catalog (dKar chag ldan dkar ma). However, since the three inner tantra sections of secret mantras are very important, they are not listed here. It is said that the tantra sections of the three stages of generation, completion, and perfection of the inner tantras were secretly hidden and not made public. Later, during the reign of Tsenpo Ralpachen (bTsan po ral pa can), in the Onchen Dogu (’On can rdo dgu) Palace, first, the Khenpo Gyalwai Shenyen (mkhan po rGyal ba’i bshes gnyen) of Nyi'og, Lhawang Jangchub (Lha dbang byang chub), Tsultrim Wangpo Jangchub (Tshul khrims dbang po byang chub), Jinpa Tsultrim (sByin pa tshul khrims), and Jangchub Shenyen (Byang chub bshes gnyen), etc., and Tibetan translators Ratna Rakṣita, Chosnyid Tsultrim, and Yeshe De, etc., established the previously translated scriptures with new terms, and separated and wrote down the Buddhist terms unknown in Tibet during the time of the early ancestors, which were difficult to understand because they did not conform to the phonetic rules. For terms that should not be interpreted arbitrarily, the phonetic rules were strictly followed. For terms that were important in meaning, they were adopted and established in the same way. Even when establishing these terms, since the three inner tantra sections were practiced secretly, it was forbidden to spread them widely, and even if they were modified with new terms, they were not touched, nor were they added to the scriptures. Therefore, examples of key instructions circulated in the streets like leaves blown by the wind, and there was no occurrence of secrets being made public. Because of these reasons, the blessings and power did not diminish or fade, so the great practitioners practiced in their respective practice places and attained accomplishments. The secret teachings existed in fragments, scattered and hidden in small countries, and were not completely collected together, nor were they compiled into catalogs, etc. Later, Buton Rinpoche (Bu ston rin po che) compiled the root tantras of the three yogas into the Tsalpa Kanjur (Tshal pa bka’ ’gyur) in order to clearly cite them, but they were not completely collected.
