Regarding those holy individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the propagation of the Dharma, they have followed the path of the Great Perfection empowerment lineage. Starting from Drolchen Samdrub Dorje, the lineage was transmitted separately from the two Zur Ham sisters, and also from the lineage of descendants, making a total of three lineages. First, the lineage transmitted from Zur Ham is that Zur Ham himself had the seat at Ri Pukpa in Yawan (a secluded place), and Langdro Tshewang Gyalpo heard this Dharma. After that, it was transmitted from him to Chuwar Nyipukpa, and then heard by the lineage holder Lekpa Palsang. Then, it was heard by Jamyang Rinchen Gyaltsen of Ngari Uzewa. In the year of the Rabbit, in Ngari Lowa Matang, he conferred empowerment upon the Panchen brothers. Both of them became learned and accomplished great masters. In particular, the younger brother Rigzin Lekden Je was only eight years old when he heard the Great Perfection empowerment. In short, he lived for one hundred and thirteen years, benefiting Buddhism and sentient beings with vast activities of teaching and practice. Later, at the request of Jamyang Khyentse brothers, in Nyuk's Gyalkhang, he bestowed the Great Perfection empowerment that gathered the four rivers completely, along with vows. At that time, Kyi Ton Tsering Wangpo also heard this Dharma. When he bestowed the Great Perfection empowerment with vows at Pelkar of Tsang Samdrubtse, the great lama Dreshongpa Nyakton Chokyi Gyalpo Dorje was still a child, led by his father Mangrawa Pema Dudul, and heard this Dharma completely. Later, at Gongra Lhundrup Ding, together with the great translator Gya Nan Phendorje and Tsang Tekchok Lingdupa, he also heard this Dharma from the Great Perfection practitioner Namkha Drukdra Sangpo. This one, Ngari Osel Chok, Gongra Lotsawa, and Lhatsun Namkha Jigme, regarded the three as root gurus, relied on many holy gurus, and heard vast teachings, and was a great master who abided in celibacy. He secluded himself in Rongmu Shambhala, and under the guise of giving instructions on the Black Yangti, secretly bestowed the Great Perfection empowerment, along with vows, in a single transmission to the great master of Menlungpa, Nyangton Lochok Dorje. Before that, he had also heard this Dharma from the great translator Gya Nan Phendorje in the mandala of colored powders in connection with the great accomplishment, and regarded him as the supreme root guru. In short, he was proficient in Sutra, Tantra, and various fields of knowledge, and especially skilled in the treasure teachings of Chokwang. Gyalwa.

The Fifth was honored as Tishri by the Great Fifth and was the crown ornament of many learned and accomplished ones. Previously, as the reincarnation of Dorje Drak Rigdzin, the lord of the translated teachings, he was fully bestowed with all the empowerments of the Sutra, the sealed instructions, and practices. This holy one is the reincarnation of Nanam Dorje Dudjom, the incarnation of Rigdzin Je. He was born in Monkhar Namsey Ling in the Iron Snake year as the son of Depa Karma Phuntsok Wangpo of the Black Bird lineage. Having clearly remembered the previous life of Jangpa Rigdzin Ngakgi Wangpo, he was invited to the upper throne at the age of six. From writing, reading, and activity practice onwards, he effortlessly mastered the study of scriptures. He offered his hair to the Omniscient Great Fifth Dalai Lama, who bestowed the name Kunsang Padma Trinley. Later, he took the complete ordination at his feet and heard many profound teachings. Furthermore, he relied on many learned and accomplished masters such as Zurchen Choying Rangdrol and Gonpo Sonam Chokden, and without omission, he heard limitless Dharma teachings such as the empowerments, transmissions, explanations, oral transmissions, and instructions of the new and old schools. By thoroughly understanding through contemplation, his unobstructed wisdom increased. In Drak Yangdzong, Chuwo Ri, monasteries, and other places, he gained stability in the generation stage through practicing with the wisdom of meditation. Having mastered the wisdom of the completion stage, he became a great learned and accomplished one, never wavering from the wheel of the three activities of learning, contemplation, and meditation to benefit beings. In particular, urged by the prophecy of the Omniscient Great Fifth Dalai Lama, he composed the work called "The Entrance to the Supreme Mandala Ocean of the Empowerment of the Collected Sutras," and performed many empowerments of the Sutra, greatly benefiting the teachings of the Sutra. Until the age of seventy-seven, he extensively benefited the teachings and beings, and his writings, which became the nectar of the teachings in both the Sutra and Terma aspects, amount to about three volumes. The second, the Zurmo tradition, is the Kham style, which has already been explained in the Kathok section. The third is the lineage of sons: Sangye Rinchen, the son of Drolchen, transmitted it to Zhangton Namkha Dorje. This person was a disciple of both Drolma Pa, father and son, who had completed their studies and practices.
