Because of his great efforts to promote it, the precious tree of the Kagyu lineage bears the fruit of the Nyingma lineage, taking the profound meaning of the Father Tantras as daily yoga practice. All the traditions of the Eight Heruka Sadhanas of the Kagyu lineage and so on have not declined to this day, and shine brightly, so I have heard. Now I will tell the story of Kunkhyen Sherab Ozer, who is the emanation of the vidyadhara Vairochana, again liberated from his lineage. This great being was born in the area of Northern Ngamchen, in the Tri Sam Nyis clan, on the tenth day of the Water Tiger year, in the first month, he was born from his mother's womb. When he entered the womb, his mother dreamed of a crystal-colored person with a precious necklace, pouring a crystal vase full of nectar from the top of her head. On the tenth day of his birth, there were 468 beautiful sounds and rainbows, and a fragrant scent was constantly emitted. Even when he was a young boy playing, he naturally showed renunciation, had a great understanding of faith, and had quick and deep wisdom, etc. He was an extremely wealthy bodhisattva, and Manjushri, Red Yamari, and Nyenchen Tanglha have all shown their faces. The Drikungpa recognized him as the reincarnation of Yakde Panchen. In particular, a person like the King of Jewels, Puntsok Tso, said, "There is an A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) in your heart, but it is not yet appropriate to show it now." After saying this, he pointed his finger, and he felt an indescribable experience. Later he said that the appearance of that (free king) was just like that. In the area of Ru Kor, when the Hor people invaded, they tried to steal this child, and when they lassoed him, he saw the Dharma protectors obscuring him, and he escaped. After that, he lived in Drog Phur. He preached the Dharma among the children, reciting the words of the sutras and tantras like a recitation, especially the young Yamari carried a large bucket full of water and took it to the tea house, and when the old people closed the door, he went out through the wall without opening the door, and so on. In particular, because of the awakening of the Mahayana lineage, he had unbearable 469 compassion for the weak sentient beings, and he did not care about the fighting between the Shangpo people, giving food and so on, far away from worldly customs. At the age of eight

He took the vows of a lay devotee from Tsultrim Oser, who was a teacher in both Ewa Glingme and Nyin Ting, and who had perfected the qualities of steadfast wisdom. He recognized almost all the deities on the offering table, so he was named Sherab Oser, meaning "this one has generated transcendent wisdom." He received the vows of a fully ordained monk from Panchen Dorje Gyalwa, the foremost disciple of the golden one. After that, he entered the ranks of listening, contemplating, and meditating. From the Ganden Tripa, he heard the "bridge-like view" of Tendhar and the two traditions of "the vast conduct lineage of generating bodhicitta." He listened to the Compendium of Trainings, Engaging in the Bodhisattva Deeds, the Compendium of Sutras, the Bodhisattva Grounds, the Twenty Verses on Vows, the ultimate bodhicitta according to the Nagarjuna tradition, and so forth, and he focused intently on the treatises of Nagarjuna. He studied the treatises on valid cognition day and night for six years. From the two teachers, he heard the Five Treatises of Maitreya, the Five Treatises of Vasubandhu, the Two Types of Vows, the Collection of Reasoning of Madhyamaka, the Collection of Discourses, the Collection of Praises, the Explanation of the Awakening Mind, the Five Stages, and the two stages of the Gelugpa's Lamrim, the Great Stages of Tantra, and so on, many Tibetan and Chinese treatises and commentaries. Although he generated 470 kinds of perfect understanding in the course of the path, his only goal was to eradicate the seeds of samsara and attain a pure view. On this basis, due to many debates and different positions, it is difficult to know what is the essence that is free from error. Nagarjuna was prophesied to teach the profound view of the Buddha. Chandrakirti is the reliable explainer of his thought. Chandrakirti also attained realization by relying on Buddhapalita, so he made a thorough study of Buddhapalita's commentary. He said, "Nowadays, I am not satisfied with those who talk about the state of view." There was a teacher who was skilled in both the Sakya and Gelug traditions, and he completed his studies in both systems. In particular, regarding the Guhyasamaja, he fully understood the essence of Tsongkhapa's writings. From Dorje Gyalwa, he heard the Hevajra Nine Deities, the Five Paths and Fruits, including the eleven chapters of the Commentary on Valid Cognition, including the explanation and commentary on the three Gurus' seals, the complete Kalachakra, the instructions on the two stages of the Lamrim, and the detailed explanations from the lineage of the holy gurus, and he completely dispelled his doubts. The teacher said, "Geshe Sherab Oser seems to have grasped the essential points of the Dharma and is able to ask questions." Even those who are free from timidity admired his intelligence.
