At the age of twenty-two, I stole and accompanied a realized Chö practitioner. Relying on him, I again received teachings from the one with the language of the gods. Gradually, I gained control over the eighteen great treasures that symbolize the guru, completion, and mind essence. These treasures were also extracted in the presence of fortunate individuals, accompanied by great and wondrous signs. Mostly, oaths were declared to the owners of the treasures. Others, through karma and fortune, forcefully seized and obtained them without dispute. When my father heard of this, he said, "You say you've extracted treasures, bring one here." When a copper box was handed over, he said, "Read the catalog." After reading it, he said, "Read the Samputa Tantra of Buddha, the path of liberation through knowing one thing." When I read from the beginning of the tantra, he said, "Enough, enough, that's enough. You've already planted small seeds of virtue in the past. Even if you argue later, it will be in vain. Now, whatever rise or fall the treasure brings, let it be. The words of the omniscient great Orgyen (Udyāna,(Sanskrit: Udyāna, meaning: Lotus Garden)Padmasambhava) are irrefutable. Although profound, you don't need to have expectations for the Dharma. My aspiration for forty years has been to take the intentions of all the gurus, scholars, and accomplished ones of the four regions of Ü-Tsang, to cut through elaboration, and to repeatedly contemplate on the single nature of mind, the basis of samsara and nirvana. Now, if you listen to me, master the guru, completion, and mind essence. Otherwise, those evil mantras, catapults, boulders, hailstorms, and lightning illusions, and all kinds of crooked ways, don't even mention them until you have mastered the Dharma. Knowledge 442 Extensive knowledge without accomplishment will eventually lead to becoming a beggar. How could I be blind in terms of treasure excavation and Dharma? The sutras and tantras of the Buddha all speak of treasure prophecies. This is the practice of the vidyadharas. In the past, there were also some narrow-minded treasure revealers who were hasty and acted for the sake of face before truly mastering the Dharma, and as a result, they did not accomplish great deeds, but instead spread evil mantras from the Han and Tibetan regions, leading to the decline of their activities. There were also those who, like steward doctors, provided medical treatment, delaying Dharma activities. The Lhashak treasure revealer performed Torma rituals, and later became a Torma master. There were also some Bonpos who, before performing fierce magic, first practiced Pehar, and as a result, only became sorcerers. There is no end to such examples. Although the past saints aimed to benefit others, the treasure revealers did not master the fundamental Dharma, but instead treated their activities as a means of showing off, and that is why such results occurred.

Don't hesitate, listen! If you practice Dharma, the Dharma protectors will naturally accompany you. Even if you don't deliberately practice supernatural powers, they will naturally manifest. This is the vow of the Dharma protectors themselves. Don't be too rough, strive to practice the union of the Guru, Completion, and Mind. The Nyang lineage father and son were able to take on this responsibility because they practiced great compassion. He is that slightly lesser treasure revealer. The time I said I would leave six years ago is now about two months away. People will say it's a fake treasure, no need for that kind of thinking. Going back thirteen generations before me, there wasn't one without signs of accomplishment. I might become slightly better too. At that time, the treasure revealer of Nyang Gon said the prophecy of decline, and was very happy after seeing it. The prophecy mentioned the arrival of the Mongol army, and the disciples looked down on the Guru's prophecy, saying that the Mongols are not in this country now. The Guru was very disappointed and wanted to rebury the teachings. The two daughters rode winged white horses and took him to Yarlung Palri (now in Shannan, Tibet). Guru Padmasambhava transmitted the complete perfection of all secrets to him. The supreme path of the paths is altruism. Whoever is attached to this, their Bodhicitta will be far away. Guru Padmasambhava taught in this way, and then sighed. He said, don't be attached to this place, if you are attached, there is a danger of rebirth. As soon as he finished speaking, he was lifted up as if by a light dome, and arrived in an instant. In the Wood Mouse year, the Mongol Dor army arrived, and the future was revealed in this way. The next life of Tsampo Trisong Detsen was reborn as the son of the gods, Amitabha, and then successively reborn for thirteen generations, until Nyang. Among his special disciples, there was one from Yambu, Nepal, named Baro Tsugchen. He came to Tibet to search for gold, and the Dakini prophesied that he would meet Guru Padmasambhava. He saw Guru Orgyen in person for seven consecutive days. Just hearing the Guru's voice, he realized enlightenment. One night during the empowerment, the Guru asked him what he saw. He replied that he saw the Yidam in person. The Guru said, in that case, there is no other place to offer the Tsok Tor. So, the Guru instantly enjoyed all the Tsok offerings, including half an ear. The Guru asked him again what he saw. He replied that he saw the Buddha in person. The Guru said, in that case, I will give you empowerment, and then he began to collect the offerings.
