Listen for yourself. When we said we would provide sustenance, Lharje Gyana stayed there and traveled back and forth to Khyongpo Drakse. He listened to exoteric teachings in Eban, epistemology in Tagpa Khache, and also relied on Gar Söye, listening for nine years, becoming a master scholar. At the age of thirty, he went to Sangdak Drophukpa to listen to mantras and stayed for eleven years. For three years, he only heard what José Nyangtöpa said, without detailed conversations in his presence. Once, when Gyatsön Sengpön and his servants happened to meet Lharje Chökhor, a dispute arose between Gyatsön and his servants. Lharje Gyana refuted them, subdued their arrogance, pleased them greatly, and was remembered by them. Moreover, because his son Jotsün Dorje Drak opened his mind, he was overjoyed and bestowed upon him the teachings and instructions of the three stages of generation and completion, especially the secret instructions with booklets, so Lharje Lhakhangpa Zurtso had more complete teachings and deeper instructions than others. He passed away at the age of forty. The following year, Drophukpa passed away. In the Nyangtö Gyatsang area, there is the method of cutting off and preserving the root of Vajrakilaya of the nectar Nyangmé Drotar Seng. In addition, there are different Vajrakilaya methods such as Kyiluk and other Vajrakilaya methods. In Dampa Pormang, there is the Dzogchen Porluk method. In Jomo Nyangmo, there is the Dzogchen Khamluk Aro Heart Essence. Similarly, he heard many teachings such as the Dzogchen Brahmin and Ketsangma, becoming the master of all mantras, characteristics, tantras, and sadhanas. When performing medicine rituals, a goddess personally appeared from the medicine palace, circumambulated the mandala three times, and then dissolved into it, which everyone saw. He greatly benefited others and passed away at the age of fifty-six. The patron of this place, the great lama Yönten Zung, was born in the Fire Horse year. He began studying at the age of eleven. At the age of thirteen, he studied with his uncle and completed the study of the tantras, transmissions, and instructions of the three stages of generation and completion. At the age of twenty-four, his uncle Gyanapa passed away, and he inherited the throne. From Üpa Tönshak, Üpa Shipo, and others, he cut off doubts and benefited himself and others. Ü Tönshak or Dampa Se Drakpa is a descendant of Gyeza Je Pa Wangthung. Dropu

Having gone to Gapa Monastery to inquire about letters, he developed faith and began studying. In order to emulate the passing of Lhaje Gya Nak, he went to E, completing all the tantras and instructions. Thinking only to engage in meditation, he went north to search for a monastery. At Yolwa Rock, he met Dampa Yolchungpa carving the rock. He asked, "Are you going to build a monastery here?" He replied yes. He then asked, "Is there no other place to go besides here?" He replied, "On the other side, there is a pair of conch shells, which is better than here, so I am determined to build here." So he went to the twin conch shell rock of Dampa Tön Shak, and found some tsampa balls near the spring, which he took as a good omen. He stayed there and meditated, and a special realization arose. He could understand the commands of gods and demons. He was able to benefit many sentient beings, and was therefore known as Dampa Se Drakpa. Uspa Shikpo: He was from Yarlung. He was a scribe at the seat of Je Drokpukpa, who later converted to Buddhism. He followed Lhaje Gya Nak's attendant. He became proficient in the generation stage, completion stage, and Mahamudra. Thinking of going to his homeland to perform large religious ceremonies, he considered that he would need umbrellas, conch shells, offerings, and other items, and went to Nepal to prepare these. On the way, he thought that even if he knew many teachings, if he did not practice them, it would be useless to die now, and he must rely entirely on the instructions. So he went again to the presence of Lama Oga to ask for instructions. The Lama gave him the precious oral transmission instructions. While practicing these instructions, when he reached Mangyul Gungtang, the inexpressible wisdom of the Great Perfection manifested for seven days. There he retrieved the offerings from Nepal. When he arrived in Mangyul Gutang, he contracted a fever. Thinking that it might be an inauspicious omen, he made a decision. He left all his belongings in the village. He went to the mountains to practice, and there was no obstruction to all the land, stones, mountains, and rocks. Knowing that his previous thoughts were unnecessary, he sold all the items used for the large religious ceremonies. When he saw the value equivalent to one-seventh of Maji and Ting, he remembered the kindness of the Guru, and thought that it was also the Guru's kindness that such thoughts arose in him, and he should offer these to the Guru, so he took them. But because desire had disappeared, he wanted to use them for practice as well. He remembered the kindness of the Guru again.
